Rondo's offensive rebounds likely saved the Lakers tonight. Those were massive daggers on the Heat. They were just a couple plays from likely breaking through and he stopped it. Huge plays.

Playoff effing Rondo. Had a bad game offensively but tbh his shots just didn't fall - all were great looks...but he stepped up when we needed him - those offensive rebounds were HUGE.

Dunno where we'd be without Rondo honestly....

Maybe he and Bron will hang it up at the same time. That seems like awhile, but if we're able to just play him enough in the regular season to be ready for the playoffs, it's doable. Have to get a backup this offseason to preserve both Bron and AD.

Tom Brady is 43 and looks as good as ever. And that's football. I seriously have no clue how long Lebron has left or Rondo but if they play another 3 years like this? Lakers got at least another title in them, maybe 2. If the Lakers get a 3rd star, it's for sure if no major injuries happen.

This is crucial IMO - finding the right balance for Rondo. He needs to play, to stay in shape and be ready for the playoffs. But he can't play too much, because he will be coasting a lot and we all know he's going to get hurt as well. He's one of our leaders from the bench, but his play time should be heavily (load) managed during the season; give him a chance to coach from time to time, the guy is brilliant. Lead the film analysis sessions etc. That should keep him interested and motivated. Sign a dynamic combo guard to carry the scoring/facilitating load for him and Bron during the regular season, then unleash Rondo in the playoffs when he's ready and "fresh".

Some impressive assist stats for Playoff Rondo.

A lot has been said about Rondo in the clutch but he was great earlier in the game as well. Our offense was struggling to set up guys and Rondo did that the moment he came in. Also those two drives that he ended up missing the lay up gave our offense energy too.

I think top seed will only get harder in Bron's twilight. But if we build a core to support him (and the likes of Rondo and other Vets) to get there, we know Playoff LeBRondo will find a new gear.

Rajon Rondo will not be the first Lakers/C Bags champion, should the Lakers win Friday.

Minneapolis Lakers Hall for Famer Clyde Lovellette won a title with the Lakers in 1954 and then with the C Bags in 1964.

Genetics man. Bron is a beast but his pecks sucks. Rondo on the other hand, damn... just like Dwight's shoulders.

Those are Playoff Pecs, Playoff Rondo doesn't have them until past regular season. In regular season he is weak as a kitten and is virtually useless lol.

He activates his playoff power by breaking some of the bones in his hands and the adrenalin triggers a rush of Liger testosterone and grit to surge through his body.

    Before Steve Rogers
    After Captain America
