He's 27 years old. A bigs prime is usually between 28-32 years of age. We are talking about at least 6 more years of prime ball with him. This is nuts. Lakers could get to 20 titles before he is done.

I think he got a little tired in the 4th, but the shooting streak of 14-15 was incredible. The effort on the boards tonight was what we need twice more.

That third quarter was a work of art. It was an absolute stunning offensive showing for the ages. Classic performance from AD tonight.

Maybe we can send him Green for Hart and Ball. That sounds about fair.

About 4 or 5 minutes before Van Gundy mentioned it and before AD missed his 2nd shot 13 or 14 in ... I too was thinking his performance was looking like Bill Walton’s epic game against Memphis for the NCAA championship when he made like 21 of 22 shots. Just an amazing player! What a performance. Well spoken and I’m digging his and Dwight’s current hair styles. That will be important when he accepts the Finals MVP award or shares it with LeBron in front of the world. My god he’s just now starting to enter his prime basketball years.

Get a secondary playmaker for this guy ASAP and our future looks bright. We have to start reducing Bron's minutes next year and another good guard would do wonders for AD and vice versa. I'm sure someone will want to play with him, right? :)

Finals MVP. The guy has been SO consistent in the playoffs and now in the finals, he's upped his game once again.

He's doing it on BOTH ends and that is why I believe he will get Finals MVP unless LeBron literally goes 40/15/10 next 2 games.

I feel like Lebron is feeding AD the Finals MVP. Lebron knows if he does that, he has a legit shot at 3-peating. Some of those passes to AD busting the zone were so obvious that once Lebron knew the hockey assist was coming, he knew AD would be wide open for the basket.

Another thing that is going to come out of this year's playoffs is the NBA may be realizing again that small ball is a joke. The only reason why it worked the last few years is because you literally had the top 3 shooters, arguably, ever on one team in Curry, Thompson and Durant.

Sure, with our purple tinted Laker glasses. Don't forget there's another option out there.

i mean, you don't know until those picks have been swapped, played out their careers, and shown us how much they can do in post-career philanthropy, though.

well, yes, and the best versions (imo) of that gs team played bogut for 20-25mpg, too. last year's title winner had marc gasol. smallball works when coaches and players don't think and execute, imo--which is why it dominates in the regular season, when focus and preparation are down.
