That's a good family story. Great for D39, greater for the kid.

Agreed above. In the days of Laimbeer, Moses Malone, even back to Wilt physical play was normal.
    NBA has been pussified..

Who would have thought that Pelinka was lurking on these boards for all those years? Congrats, Rob.

I predict "Bam" Howard will be the more appropriate nickname than for the other dude by the end of this series.

Nice forearm shiver that sent Adebayo to the floor. Tagged but made it worth it. Sank a pair at the stripe (gasp!). Good interior passes to Davis for flushes.

    Starting center for 2021?

Thought he came out weak in the first, not starter worthy. Bounced back well to start the 2nd half. 8 boards and a couple nice feeds to AD.

Howard is the secret weapon. He never, ever lost his talent. Getting his mind right was the key.

Those passes to AD? What can the defense do? Dwight is still a freak athletically.

He started out sluggish but in the second half, he had some very nice passes and played tough boxing players out. Dwight is a must-sign after this season. Even at his age, there is no center out there who is as strong as him.

Dwight always wanted to have fun but he also wanted to be the man offensively. He's finally learned he doesnt need to be the man, and its actually more fun to win on a team like this.

I think we literally got our answer tonight. Bam slammed into Dwight and... got hurt.

Maybe not but Howard is making some kind of case if not here. Not for too many minutes if we have a young, capable back up to spell him. What is going on with McGee? Injury? Coach decision?

McGee hasn't looked right the entire bubble. Was it ever confirmed if he had Covid? If he did it probably didn't cooperate well with his asthma.

I don't believe there was a quarantine protocol involving him since it all started. McGee has been ineffective for the most part. Morris has taken some of his minutes.

McGee was on the bike and cheering on... Hope he's alright.

Nothing is wrong with McGee. The talent as the playoffs went on is too much for him to handle. Jokic was killing him everytime he guarded him.

If you're getting a foul, might as well make it worth the time.

Boy did I call that. "Bam" tried to put the bam on Dwight with that sucker shoulder block while driving and hurt himself and bounced off to the floor. No more Bam.

Round one goes to Dwight for sure. Bad move by Bam trying to run over Howard.
