Must be worried he'll impress them more than Pringles. Man, there's a lot of available gigs this off season. Could definitely see that as his next gig
Maybe John Stockton will get the new coaching gig with the Clippers, he comes highly recommended by Stephen A. Smith!!!
Kawhi is a genius and he has replaced Lebron as the greatest and smartest player in the NBA!! Ahhhh knowz dis is tru kuz my daddy told me so!!!
Thinking about this some more. The Clippers suck! That's it, that's all I can come up with!! They simply suck!! Well, but I actually have something I was thinking about and it leads to how I feel about them, Doc and Kawhi. The Clippers goal was NOT to be good and win rings. Their goal was to dethrone the Lakers in their hometown. They wanted to dethrone us. They wanted to denigrate us and beat us down. They never had a magnanimous attitude where if they could simply be great, that this would be enough. They could have quietly won and then been gracious and that might have actually won people over. Instead, Doc took vailed shots at us while Kawhi and PG played us for chumps. All the while Jeannie Buss and Lebron treated them with respect. I think Lebron finally took a couple of pokes at them but considering all the pokes they have taken at us, it is hard to blame him. My point is, Doc and others but I am pointing at Doc right now, threw some real shade on us, what the Clippers HOPED to do to the Lakers was not gracious, it was fairly cut throat and vicious. They wanted to denigrate us in front of our hometown fans. So all I can say to Doc is, who's F'ed now MFer? Eat that for awhile and see how you like it!!! The Clippers need a change of approach, their attitude sucks and it is why they can never come out on top, because they all know their attitude sucks, there is no moral high ground, there is no worthy purpose.
They kept promoting themselves as LA's no fuss blue collar team hungry for success. Yet they kept acting like back-to-back champions who were already great, as if they were the Warriors or something.
If you have The Athletic, here's a good read on what went wrong between Rivers and the Clippers https://theathletic.com/2100899/202...decision-to-part-ways-after-another-collapse/ Some highlights: -He saw the roster being more flawed than Balmer does. - Stuck with Trez over Zu in crunch time, despite Zu playing much better in the bubble. - Couldn't juggle/ balance the vets, stars, egos, or command the locker room. - Hasn't made sufficient adjustments - Hasn't developed their youth since his arrival. - No players stuck up for him when he got the boot. - Came up short one too many times.
lol, they're mad SGA had a good year in OKC. that's some cherrypicking, though, imo. he wouldn't have gotten that role with the clips--you can't develop young guys and win. well, unless miami beats us. then...i guess you can?
