Man our guards really don’t get a break facing these superstar guards every series but they stepped up especially with Bradley not in the bubble Kcp probably start on Murray Green might be a bit slow but yes I hope to see a lot of Caruso on him he’s our best guard defender but a lot also really depends on what the lakers are doing defensively as a team more than an individual for example Murray likes to get in lots of pick and rolls with jokic and other two man game stuff or sets with jokic as the passer and Murray on the move that’s how he scores so the lakers as a whole squad and staff have their work cut out even if Kcp and Caruso are probably gonna be the main point of attack defenders but this team is really good defensively I have faith in that
He delivered tonight, every time he shot I felt like it was going in, played some fantastic defense too.
Pope managed to stay in front of Murray who will get his. Every shot of his I am expecting to go in. Even had a flush.
Heaved a trey and it went in. Crucial make given the circumstances. Green could do the same thing there would have been a personal injury lawsuit.
In a playoff game that we win by one off a buzzer beater, I’m giving extra props to anyone who hit a big shot. That three he splashed down from the corner to put us up 6 with about 5 minutes left was huge! Another solid game from KCP all around
Big stat for him... 27-of-61 from 3 in these playoffs. that's 44.3% In the playoffs, I've gotten to the point where if he launches it from deep, I expect it to go in. Even that one Rondo slipped to him that he fired from the hip to beat the clock.
Yeah KCP has been playing really NICE. Kind of like I've gotten to the point of when Rondo is pounding the ball for a bit to expect him to make a play for someone or himself. Not always, like always any of these guys playing against other good to great players ...... but because of the overall body of good work both of them are doing in these playoffs.
KCP is what Green hopes he is when he grows up. Not a great shooting night from 3, but I'll take double digits on an overall 5-12 shooting any night from him.
I take back what I said about KCP... It must be tough on him when he has to do double-duty and do Danny Green's work as well. Shooting 44% from three, wow, I did not expect him to be our best shooter by a wide margin.
I like KCP. Not the most talented player, but he seems to hit those back breaker shots, when needed. Opposition will bring it within 3... and BAM! KCP takes it back to 6.
Bump. This was my very first post on this site and I posted it last round in response to people complaining about him and his contract (and/or past contracts). A bunch of ppl laughed at me and posted laughing memes and stuff and said I must be kcp lol but this is what I was talking about! So to try this again.....I like the way he has been attacking close outs and cutting in this series which is some of those “other parts of his offensive skill set” I was referring to, he HAS tapped into that this series like I was hoping! But I still think he could do better coming off screens and handoffs, shooting the 3 off the bounce or after a fake on the move etc, and in the mid range when he gets those opportunities too so I really think he could still get even better on the offensive end, might yet have another gear, and if he does that he will start scoring like 15 a game with some consistency. His defense and 3 shooting of course has been very consistent. This guy is really good I tried to tell yall! Seriously where would we be without him? I hate to say I told you so but.....actually no I love to say it lol told ya so
