I have a feeling we are talking about two different things here. I am talking strictly about his physicality and how it's being perceived in the modern NBA. Not his mentality change etc. although I do agree with what you mentioned there.

Pau looked like he had been in a knife fight after the 2009 finals. Dawite was physical then. The difference now is that he's embraced his role, instead of thinking that he's Hakeem in the post.

Apparently he nearly got tossed in game 3. He's gotta balance his energy and pestering better

No one ever accused Dwight of being the sharpest tool in the shed. I hope LeBron gets in his ear to shift all that trash talking energy into rebounding focus from here on out.

Way to answer Superman! We really fed off his energy and activity. 8 & 8 in the first quarter. Nice switch up by Vogel.

Finished with 12 & 11 (6 offensive boards). Huge production in his 23 minutes.

Dwight is a lot better, than he's showing.

I think he lives in his head too much. He's trying too hard to atone for past transgressions.

    Just play your game, Dwight.

He's still in shape. He still has the tools. Dude was a star in the league. He's still capable of having that impact.

Just needs to let it come to him.

WHY does frank go bold(AND SMART) starting howard... crushes it with 8 points 8 reb first quarter..... lakers go up like 10-12 points.... then he literally doesn’t play him again whole game AND game was close throughout the moment he left....

like a previous poster said way before, he’s a perennial defender, all-world rebounder. yeah he gets too emotional and gets into really dumb fouls and complains a ton.

DESPITE THIS, he has got to be the biggest plus minus next to caruso this whole playoffs....

what gives? howard seriously gets no burn when he is deserving of AT LEAST 20 mins a game.

it should be.... caruso kcp lebron davis howard.... swap rondo with caruso, sub howard for kieff, with kuzma thrown in there at times.... these are our best players and we go on a lot more runs with these names.

Because Murray would have hunted him, and as good as Dwight is as a defender, he can't double and recover back to his man as fast as Morris can.

Vogel gave trust and Dwight paid in return. Showed he could temper his gone in 60 seconds fouling picadillo. Felt like he should be on the court when Jokic is he was effective at tiring him, throwing him off that lead directly or later in the game indirectly to foul trouble. Jokic looked pissed as the game went out of reach as he sat out for foul trouble late in the game.

Player of the game. We wouldnt have won if it wasnt for his energy to start the game. Think he needs to play more, give him all of McGee’s mins

Great energy by Dwight to get us off to a hot start. Smart move by Vogel not to close with him too..

The Joker looks sooo tired from grinding against Dwight's pure muscle... Jokic looks totally spent

Dwight's energy was contagious and it has been this whole series. He was huge in our win last night. Keep it going!

Great game from Dwight. I would have liked to see him get some run in the second half but was crucial to us getting off to a good start.

Redemption year continues for Dwight. I think he gets the game ball for taking Jokic out of this game.
