I would only add that Kawhi broke down despite the long break as well. Load management and an unprecedented break in the season still wasn’t enough for him to not wear down. Definitely agree that they should be concerned

Why would they make everyone available? Poison P said for everyone to commit to next season. Management didn’t get the memo

Never mind... this is typical Clipper commitment to their players

lol kawhi got sick of PG after one season

not sure which team would be willing to take on the contract of a 30 yr old coming off a disastrous postseason who isn't a FA until after the 21-22 season. maybe they'll try dealing him to houston for westbrook

There's definitely some big contracts that can move this summer with CP3, Westbrook, and PG. Any of those would have to involve a 3rd team because of the players and former teams/ hurt feelings involved. Could see Milwaukee offering up a Middleton in a big splashy move, trying to convince The Greek Freak to stay.

Love the lack of loyalty with Clippers. Makes us an even more desirable location for any vet FAs this off season.

he can actually opt out after 21' season so hes basically a 1yr rental for most teams that arent willing to reup him on a super max

LMAO. Load manager is the one untouchable and you can go suck the proverbial big one Paula. Blake Griffin says hello. Every clipping Clippers team ever says hello. I love you Denver and am sorry you’re in our way. Good job!

Houston and Clippers both dumpster fires.

Oh Whoa!! Edit Edit Edit .... just noticed when clicked on article its from Clipper's executive director of research and identity's previous place of employment, Sports Illustrated.

they were good. and lucky to beat us that year.

this was my point. you basically never heard it again.

malone was also instrumental in combating kg in the minny series (minny was very good that year, easily their best team ever).

and yeah iirc, the lakers' record with malone in the lineup was very, very good.

the narrative regarding that year is so different than how i remember it, tbh. the lakers were a mess, but had pulled it together in the playoffs/end of regular season. they made the finals and lost their 3rd best player (on a team with like, 5 legit players). the pistons had their pf just play rover on d because ours were slava and a rookie luke (or second year?). plus, they illegally doubled kobe off the ball as part of that scheme, but nobody cared because everyone hates the lakers.

    anyway, eat it clippers.

right? starting to look like chris paul--where it's not 82 games--it's that he really can't play every other night for 2 straight months. i'd be worried if i were a clippers fan.

also, what's paul george's trade value right now? i can't see anyone breaking the bank for him, especially with one year before an opt out.

If ONLY we could have crowds in Dodger Stadium just to hear the decibel level of the BOOOS if either or both of these guys gets picked up by camera on the big screen .... if they were dumb enough to come and be recognized.

Our memories of that season are a little different. If I recall, we began the season 18-3 and looked unbeatable. It wasn't until the injuries began (at one point we lost Shaq, Kobe and Malone at the same time) that everything began to go south.
