That little bit of hair he is holding onto is a safety capacitor that is designed to stop him going full Michael Jeffrey Jordan and setting the court on fire. He is feeling more comfortable at point and has shown a lot of growth (follicles aside) this year. I love him on this team. Is Caruso better for us than Lonzo. For this team I would say YES.
Nice job attacking the rim, but make your free throws. He also had a couple of nice dimes tonight; one of which was that skip pass to Rondo for the 3...great read.
Not enough shots for him to get a feel... His aim is true just clanks off. Off all our backcourt he looks to be the only who can straight up drive to the cup and elevate. Every time the opponent is inbounding the ball, Caruso is there trying to cause a TO.
Lots has been said about his play with Bron, high BB IQ and all, but what stood out to me in the last game was - there were a few plays where he defended the Joker and he was able to hold his ground. Impressive stuff. I hope he remains a Laker for a looooong time.
Jokic has about 3 inches on him, which is a lot, but they probably weigh about the same right now since Joker dropped some lbs. Bron is incredibly strong, he could guard most centers in limited minutes.
For some reason I thought he was taking about Bron, probably because LeBron's name was mentioned right away and I came here directly from the LeBron James thread (not to mention there were some posessions where James rotated on Jokic too). So yeah - my bad, but I was talking about Bron, not Caruso. Slimmer version of Jokic has 60+ lbs and around 7 inches of height on Alex.
Come on Alex: got to this those open 3's in the playoffs if you're going to be this teams Kerr/Harper guy
Eagle, you're great man, but you have to hit that open 3. You will shoot more of those when the time comes.
Caruso in a series of plays invoked comparisons to Jordan, Gervin, Payton and HOF Ernie Johnson. That is serious cred. All kidding aside, maybe he needs to put some arc on that J? Where's Lethal Shooter? Is he still on the payroll? I wanted him to be the hero on that potential game winning trey.
I didn’t feel good about that three as soon as it left his hand, but he probably should have been the last guy taking that, so..yeah. But hey, he did hit that huge one vs Houston let’s not forget.
He should've been the star of Space Jam 2. No CGI needed for the iconic dunk either. Great hustle and energy out there, as always. Active hands on D. BUT If he ever wants to start in this league, he's gotta improve that J. He does that and he'll get Danny Green money.
