pretty much all of the other players who can hit those last two shots are nearly a foot shorter than AD.

Can we also appreciate Davis and Jokic bringing a classic big man battle back to the playoffs? Damn. I'm still processing the last 5 mins of that game.

Its the Mamba jerseys, +24 to the clutch ability.

This would have been amazing at Staples.

Oh man that shot at Staples would have been electric. Would have been like that shot Horry hit against Sac.

That shot makes my all time Lakers Playoffs Big Shots Top 10 list. Amazing.

I was sure the game was lost with 2 seconds left and the refs having stolen the game from us. Then AD happened.

Last time a Laker hit a buzzer beater in the playoffs was over 10 years ago!

Pressure breaks pipes or make diamonds. Davis is glittering now. You blink and he fills up the stat sheet. No noise, no demonstrations though he was yakking back at the Denver bench. Six more wins AD. Get us six more!

He had 9 at the half. From there to the finish was a wild trip. 31. Final 10. Game winner Mamba Edition. He's a baaaad man! That's all there is to it.

For his posterity sake of that shot. How big it was for us and for his career, I wish that would've been at Staples.

Any idea why the guys were a bit slow to celebrate the winning shot? Too locked in on the overall season/ series? Surprised? Still wondering how AD took the shot when that wasn't the play called?

Didn't think they were slow at all to celebrate.. AD was out on the wing by himself & ran towards the Bench immediately afterwards.
Also, AD got that shot because Plumlee didn't rotate out on him & he was wide open.

I didn't watch the ending because of a conference call. Did I miss anything?

Conference call? During a Lakers game? You are not a true fan. Get outta here!

I'm not a Lebron fan. It sucks for me too.

    :Noddingyes:

Glad for the win, but after what I saw in the 3rd and 4th quarter, I'd have preferred to forward to the end anyways. It was pretty unwatchable basketball for awhile.

C’mon, sirron, this is playoff basketball, it gets tight, it can get ugly, but there’s nothing like it. You live and die with every play, so much is on the line, it doesn’t get better than this, this is what the regular season is for, to get us here to enjoy every one of these games. Non-Laker and C Bags fans probably say game 7 of the 2010 finals is unwatchable basketball too, but for us that’s a damn classic because of what was on the line. This is what it’s all about man, you gotta get on board and enjoy, let go of that LeBron hate and embrace the love [IMG] , this team plays the right way and we as fans have earned this time by sticking by our team through the down years. It could all go away again quicker than we know, gotta enjoy it now.
