    2nd best of everyone?!!

    :Magicwow4:

Is that “net” rating the same as the + / - ?

Is there a link to the list of the top 20 or whatever it is?

Did yall notice Dwight Howard do a flapping wings motion in the 2nd when Caruso blocked Harden?

This guy is really good. If he had a consistent 3-pt shot, he'd be Fred VanVleet. More or less. Right?

Defense, hustle, smart play. If all you did as a fan of another team was look at the stat sheet, yeah, you wouldn’t be impressed. But he does so much that doesn’t show up there, he can save possessions, he creates steals that lead to easy scores, and he’s largely able to stay in front of his man, even a guy like Harden, to the point that he doesn’t leave his teammates scrambling. That’s important stuff that you’ll never see on a stat sheet.

He’s the opposite of a lot of role players LeBron has played with on his East playoff teams. Like JR Smith who forgets if his team is ahead or behind at the end of a finals game.

FVF is a completely different player: his ability to hit the 3 plus he's got the pulls up game. Just another level of an offensive but he's nowhere near Caruso's defense or intangibles (Caruso gets a ridiculous amount of 50/50 loose balls/rebounds/etc)

Caruso is another Beverly redux but I'll take AC as he doesn't get unnecessary techs and tries to hurt other players
If he can hit the 3 more consistently then Beverly not really sure where that takes him. Great defensive players just don't typically shoot well from 3

I love how Big Perks called Alex Caruso the heart and soul of the Lakers :)

I love everything about Caruso. I call him CarusGOAT to my friends. I won't lie.... none of us can lie. We tend to favour the more cooler and athletically gifted black players. But there is just something to love about CarusGOAT. He starts off being a meme because of looking like a middle aged white accountant (playing in the NBA). But then it turns out he actually ball. He can shoot, actually has basketball IQ, reasonable defence, actually has athleticism, and best of all, actually has qualities that many around the league lack: true heart and hustle to win.
