Between dispensing of soften, damfony, moreyball and the e-wins and watching Flop City crash and burn has brought me immeasurable pleasure. Also I'm enjoying watching fake all time greats get exposed.

no surprise seeing those guys throw out excuse after excuse. after all, they are coached by the king of excuses

i wonder when we'll find out the details about all the drama that went on in that locker room during the season

i'm thrilled they lost, but the rockets win is still bigger to me.

i guess i didn't see the clips as a juggernaut, nor did i fear or despise them as much as many. i found them to be pretty meh. i actually like both kawhi and PG. i think rivers is super overrated, as was their supporting cast (i said this all season, check the logs).

i actually think the media has been piling on them a bit--because they're mad at themselves for being duped. they were a good team with some flaws that got beat.

let's not be them. let's be a good team with flaws that overcame.

Loving all this doom right now - but I'll say this and i might get flamed for it...

I kinda stopped hating the Clippers after Kobe passed away.

Do they have an annoying owner? Yes
Do they have an annoying coach? Yes
Do they have annoying players? Yes

But have they ever really given me a reason to truly hate them? Not really.

I started hating them when the Cp3 thing happened, but that was long ago now. CLippers are like that red-headed stepchild that always wants attention but never quite gets it. I actually legitimately feel bad for their fans right now.

Imagine they literally construct the best roster of all time and suddenly they're favored to win it all and then you get up 3-1 and have a chance to face off with the LAKERS and you f***ing blow it?

I've talked iwth several clippers fans and boy oh boy - they're defeated right now.

Was the media annoying as f*** all year long about the CLippers? Yes.
Were their players acting entitled? Yes.

But again - they have never beaten us at any level where it mattered - they're not the Spurs or C Bags or heck, even the Phoenix Suns. I have real hatred towards those teams because we've lost to them - the CLippers? I only hated them cuz of the hype and the media.

Honestly, them losing was hilarious - but I also think that the joke will be on us if we also lose to the Nuggets. None of this will even matter if we don't win it all.

It's hilarious to pull up what people said but at this point - I don't care about the Clippers losing. I only care about us WINNING.

^ if the lakers weren't still in it, i would've much rather preferred the clips winning it all than the rockets or C Bags. hate those two teams way more than the clips

They thought they owned LA when they don't. They needed to be reminded of that yesterday.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm an Angeleno and it just rubbed me the wrong way.

Anyways, "Leave a Legacy" > "LA Our Way"

Post-Kobe, I try not to hate anyone in the NBA.

I don't hate Doc, in fact I got teary-eyed when his voice broke and he was talking with media when Kobe passed away, and he is being overrated by that single championship which IMO he did NOT deserve at all.

I don't hate Kawhi, I know in his heart he has something to prove but the way it was executed I would blame his handlers (Uncle Dennis, in particular). I do think he wanted to lead a, lack of a better term, dirty-dozen sort of team to the promised land, but the media branding them as champs long before the season started did nothing to help that cause at all.

I don't hate PG, because of what he did in Indiana, I could respect, and because he's an idiot, plain and simple, and he doesn't even know it.

I don't hate Lou-Will, he didn't know he sacrificed his Sixth Man aspirations by joining the Lakers, probably got salty because of that and because he was traded. He is probably under bad influence in that toxic locker room

Save for Beverley and couple of other shmucks, I don't hate their team at all that much. But I do hate the media, and Ballmer who is spending $$$ to move his agendas forward with them. Everyone in that organization is acting so entitled as a result of that.

I still remember that 48 point butt whoopin they put on us during their lob city years. And basically all the preening and strutting they put on when we were...well bad. Really bad. All the while still failing to make it out of the second round. Fast forward to this past off season, we get hoodwinked by KL, the talking and preening in full force, basically everyone outside of Laker circles proclaiming them the best team in basketball....yeah I was continually annoyed by them all season. That’s why up until recently that Christmas Day game still irritated me. So their basketball fall I have to admit is kind of satisfying right now. Oh and despite missing the playoffs for six straight seasons, we still made it to the conference finals before they ever can.

When I hear any dip**** who says the Clippers own LA, they should have acid thrown in their face for being complete a** hats.

From 2010 to 2020 the Clippers have had tremendous off season/front office success and great regular season records. They've assembled some All Stars while the Lakers struggled so badly. Everything that could go wrong went wrong for us. And everything that could break right for the Clippers did(Cp3 trade, FAs, Kawhi, PG, finding willing trade partners). ...until the playoffs every year.

We have returned to the Conference finals and their playoff drought continues. They've had the greatest run in franchise history and still no conference finals appearance.

I knew Doc had a loser/Ducking mentality when he had the Lakers title banners covered with Clipper player banners. He feels insecure and it bled throughout the team and its players too.

I can't hate or speak badly about Doc Rivers. His breakdown when Kobe died made me like him forever. His voice cracking when they interviewed him was the same sound my chest was making.

Yeah I'm done hating on the Clippers - it's more the idiots in the media that deserve to get called out for their stupid a** predictions.

i'll always hate doc for his connection to the C Bags and all that sh** he talked about how their starting 5 is "undefeated" when healthy. of course, completely ignoring the fact that the lakers were missing bynum in 08

plus the whole thing with him having the lakers banners covered and then criticizing how they count the titles won in minny really rubbed me the wrong way. **** him

I hate their marketing campaign and I really hate their fans. I don't mind the team being good. Sterling-levels of incompetence and failure is not good for any league, let alone for a city to share. It's not natural. As they get competitive, the Lakers stay on their toes. A city rivalry is a good thing to me.

With that said, I'm thoroughly enjoying talking heads, tweets, and comment sections go after Doc, PG and Kawhi. We have guys on FS1 outlining Doc's whole career saying stuff like "he wasted Tracy McGrady's best years" LOL. It's a trash take but I love how the media cannon is pointed square on the good ol' Clips right now.

Reggie Miller had a tweet about team chemistry, check out this Kings fan:

It's amazing. It's like our posts and @Cookie 's flavor of doom took over the media for a day.
