Been a long time since I’ve enjoyed morning sports shows this much. Will be tuning in to watch Shannon clown Skip.

Just saw a comment on YouTube saying it was classy of Kawhi and Paul to honor Kobe by combining for 24 points and 8 assists in 81 minutes LOL

this is what i was referring to the other day. nobody thought we'd be that good, save maybe some laker fans (though i recall being told we had ZERO chance against them over and freaking over by our own fans...).

    Did that really happen?

    Insane.

Load manager isn't better than LeBron, let alone Kobe. That's an objective fact, when you compare stats, awards, playoff success, you name it.

The media loves to prematurely anoint superstars, or give all time accolades to players that haven't earned it. Most of these guys are dreadful at their jobs or have agendas.

    No integrity.

Just wanted to laugh at my own little brain fart. After I read this, I thought: "Hmm, that makes sense. Denver is a tough place to play with the altitude."

Unbelievable.. Look at how awful these Clippers were. I think I speak for everyone when I said we all fully expected a Clippers vs Lakers showdown so part of me is a little bit disappointed we wouldn't be the ones to put them out of their misery but look at these numbers...

Montrezl "Sixth Man Of the Year" averaged fewer than 3 rebounds per game vs the Nuggets?
Lou Williams "GOAT Sixth Man of the Year" shot below 15% from three? The best off the bench scorer couldn't even shoot above 36% from the field and averaged 10 points?
Lakers fans were so disappointed we lost Zubac. For what? Jokic was making a fool out of this boy... Zubac is good for garbage minutes but the next Lakers person crying about him getting traded should think about this next time.
Some of ya'll wanted Reggie Jackson. Reggie who? Bobby Shmurda played better than Reggie Jackson... and he's in PRISON.
Joakim Noah really left the Caribbean to come back and play zero minutes? This is the 'huge' pickup for the Clippers?
Patrick Beverley is supposed to be a dog? This man left Jamal Murray drop 40 on his head in a game 7 when the Clippers were up double-digits?
Paul George is an embarrassment. Thank God he passed on the Lakers. I would say karma is a B.. but what for? Paulina Georgina, once again, why you can't trust him.
Kawhi Leonard... I expected him to carry the Nuggets but wow, I can't believe how bad this guy was. How the hell did this dude even make All-NBA Defensive 2nd Team? It must be based off reputation and that alone because he could not stop Murray. Three all-NBA defensive perimeter players and NONE could stop Murray?

Doc Rivers, forever the most overrated coach in NBA history. He's more of a pastor than an NBA coach. How many superstars has this guy had and in his lone career, has one title? It's a total JOKE. Any coach would kill to have one star... Doc has had nearly 10 and has failed them all.

I thought Houston was in a bad position. The Clippers are just embarrassing... And this is the same team that was clowning the Lakers all season like they won something LOL...

I love Kawhii: not going to knock him as he at least was the one dude who was trying to create and he took the defensive assignments. But man between the injury history, load management, and him clearly looking gassed on the end something seems wrong with his conditioning. It seems better to the Lebron trick which is to drop weight and do in game load management. Clearly looks Toronto's ability to score with Siakam/FVF and play defense with Gasol/Ibaka really helped him being a "finisher". I don't think he can carry a team for an entire game

PG-13: lol. He needs to stop talking but you watch some Indiana highlights - that dude is clearly not that explosive but still come on you got to be able to hit open shots

    I'll take Caruso over Beverley

Lou Williams and Harell: jesus Denver went big game hunting with these two. Just relentlessly attacked them on defense. Harell has another issue is he doesn't stretch the floor: he's an incredible screener on the PnR but you can ignore him if he's not involved in the PnR

That being said: two things stick out
-The Clips sphincters tightened up and they missed a ton of open shots (here's looking at you PG/Lou Williams/etc)
-Doc didn't have the balls to sit Harell and either play Zubac to counter Jokic or the lineup they should have done and gone with Green at the 5 with shooters everywhere. You did not seem him pull a Stevens who pulled guys like Kanter completely out of the lineup or Vogel dumping the BOTH centers. This was such an obvious move that needed to be done and he just couldn't do it.

-They needed to get someone like Tristan Thompson to guard bigs instead of more ballhogs in Morris and Reggie Williams. You need guys willing to sacrifice their shots and do the little things to win. The roster, the coach, and their own players didn't seem to buy into that

Kawhi's series averages are a great example of why there is always WAY more to a players value than just basic box score stats.

    24.3ppg on 44% and 36% from 3
    8.6 rpg
    5.9apg
    2.3stl
    1.1blk

Those are really nice #'s, but they obviously don't tell the whole story.
