Never really thought of him as looking greasy. It's not wet looking. He looks more like his face is made of glossy plastic.

On TV from the high game camera I said the same thing kind of LOL. It looks like he has a plastic hat on. Weird. :D

Kawhi did not look like himself in the last game. Maybe he was just off, but he missed a bunch of shots he seems to be making in his sleep normally. Last year he also lost some step as the playoffs progressed, maybe we are witnessing his misterious healts issues emerging. Don't wish that on (almost) any player, especially one as great as him, just wondering...

Anyway, I was listening to the Athletic NBA Show podcast and they were talking about the Clips - Nuggets matchup and how the tenants have underachieved. They mentioned how it was in a significant part due to Lou and Montrezl of all people. They are the main reason why the Clips are considered so deep IMO, and in the podcast, the guys basically called them unplayable due to how terrible they are on defense.

Part of it is certainly the fact that both are kind of sucking it up on offense currently and I don't think we can expect that to translate entirely, but that made me wonder. If a team like the Nuggets (with all due respect) can adjust and use this weakness against them, the Lakers should be just fine. In the first two rounds our coaching staff showed to be able to make the right adjustments to exploit the opponent's weaknesses. We have the likes of Bron and (can't believe I'm typing this) Rondo on the team who can then turn plan into action, with other players filling in their roles almost to perfection at the right time.

I still respect the Clips, they have tons of talent. I'm not scared of them anymore though, not at all. If they can advance, I hope this is the one series we can sweep on our way to the chip.

they're good, and they have the best playoff performer in the league right now. but all the junk about depth was just that.

Clips problem is essentially Harrell has sucked this playoffs/bubble. Not sure what happened to him but he's a guy who was never was a great defender or shooter but made up for it as a great screener and roll man on the PnR plus high energy.

It should be an easy fix for them (more Zubac/Green at the 5) but who knows. They've been up big on Denver in the non-Harrel minutes with big leads going into the second half both the last two games. Coaches like Vogel have pulled the trigger on some drastic lineup changes: we'll if Rivers does the same

They'd probably wait to hang it until they got to their new Inglewood Arena.

The Los Angeles Load Managers failed big time. One of the most epic chokes I have ever witnessed, considering they were supposed to win the title.

    Oh, well.

The Nuggets have the best player and they had a better coach. Simple as that.

Who wants to lock this? :)

I'm telling you guys - they are THE CLIPPERS. Nice job, Kawhi. Imagine if you replaced, say... Danny Green on this Laker team? Bummer, man.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry, wait... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Clippers curse is real. Where you at Beverly? Not talking so big now. Where’s that opening game bravado? Bunch of f****** chokers LMAO, oh my god this is too good. I feel almost elated right now as I have when the Lakers won a title. All is right in the basketball universe, the Lakers are in the WCF, the Rockets and Clippers going home, oh god it’s delicious .
