Will have to wake up , can't play a Rondo-Caruso against the Clips ( hope Vogel quickly realize that)
Last game he did more of the little things. Hustled for offensive rebounds, played some meaningful D. Also the couple of in rhythm threes off clean passes looked good with more rotation on his shot. Still looking for a breakout performance but this is a start and is the absolute minimum we need from him. The time for him to flip the switch is now. 17 games maximum left in the playoffs (though surely we close the Rockets early). The call to duty is playing in purple and gold clarion. Do it Danny Green.
Showed up big today with a +/- of +35. If we can get like 50% of what he did today moving forward we are in a good position to win it all.
Had a trey off a pull-up which had me muttering "oh s**t!" before the attempt. A Leonard like block at the rim on Millsap even if the latter lost control of the ball before going up. Green does minimal, the rest is just bad.
He's made some very effective defensive moves out there this series. That said, his shooting is still atrocious.
Im kind of glad he got blocked on that last shot there. If he didnt, he probably would have missed it and game over.
Starting SG is by far the biggest weakness of this roster The centers and forwards rotation is easily the best in the league (Lebron/AD/Howard/McGee/Morris/Kuzma) is as good as you're going to hope for PG is serviceable in terms of a playoff caliber team with Caruso and Rondo KCP is a good backup guard But man this team really needs a SG who is a legit shooter that can consistently guard the in between players like Murray and McCollum
That's why something like Green + Kuz for a borderline All Star SG that can shoot the 3 & get to the rim would put this Team into the next stratosphere.. But let's see how the rest of these Playoffs play out..
