It must feel great for him to come back and contribute like this after being out.

I have zero expectations that this will continue every game throughout the playoffs though.

I thought Rondo would have his moments but tonight was above expectations. You can't count out experience. Let's hope he builds on this and show consistency

    I'll take it .

He's the only guard who can make entry passes on this team ...

Yeah he was 3/5 from three point range which we can’t expect every night. But it wasn’t just a hot shooting night. He seriously looked totally in control out there and I had confidence in his playmaking. Lobs to AD, well executed post entry passes, solid defense, a few nice attacks to the rim.

Definitely not going to expect this every night, but he’s already shown me more than I thought he had left.

Just getting to LB finally after the game and had to come to this thread first not having read anyone else’s comments yet. I can’t think of the words yet to put my finger on how good and satisfying it has been to watch Rajon have the back to back all around games he just had. There’s so many angles to this not the least of which I’m sure will be the complete reversal of most all of us’s sentiment toward him. He’s running a nicer looking offense some of the time and getting players the ball in good positions to score. What can you say about him burying multiple 3’s out there. No mustard off the dog moments and high degree of difficulty successful drives to the rim. Smart play. Gives us another dimension as a team. Playing great with LeBron giving him nice moments of far less exertion. Has played great with AD and with both of them and with 2nd unit. Must be “Playoff Rondo” we’re finally getting to see out of him. Hope he keeps this rhythm and stays healthy.

What a fittingly disgusting image to illustrate just how “foul” of a thing the act really is that many now volunteer happily to do. Yeah right. Liars. No one is cutting off a big chunk feathers and all and swallowing it. :giggle:

Whatever Rondo does going forward won't take away from him turning this series in our favor. It is in Lebron and AD to close it out. Lakers/C Bags final will be fun.

That was just hilarious and also totally right! He is really getting into the Rockets' heads a bit as well which is fun to watch. Playoff Rondo mode activated!!

That’s the one thing I gave genuinely liked about Rondo since he got here, being a pest to players I can’t stand. Like that game where punched Chris Paul. Good times.

    :Mindblown:

Also LOL at the top comment in reply to that tweet

He's still a beast in the open court. AC and him have struggled with shooting and being bullied but they both have quick hands and are smart at positioning.
When Rondo gets in the open court it's pretty much lights out at that point.

Also on D he's able to still pester full court which is what they were missing with Bradley out. Lakers like to junk up the initiation of the offense with pressure so that allows their rim protection time to get set up

He was shooting better earlier in the year and Houston is going to give him space again. If he can just hit those 3's where there is literally no one in the same zip code as him then that will be a game-changer. Hopefully, he doesn't start jacking away at contested ones

That was an interesting way to prove the point and get in Harden's head. People asking - why did Harden allow it? What is he supposed to do? First of all, he knows that's exactly what he does all the time and second... he's a pretty laid back dude. He's not going to suddenly fight with Rondo and get ejected. So he decided to play along for our amusement. :)
