He's a starter caliber player now for most good teams that don't have a star at PG: Kuzma and him are going to be key pieces for the future for this team particularly given the Lakers cap situation
There is a side of me that wishes game 2 was closer so that Caruso could get more run in a big game. I'm not entirely sure what position he plays, but I trust his decision making and he has a big play in him if he's in the game long enough. Like a guard version of Robert Horry
He’s got really smart and busy hands too. Everywhere. In the lanes and making an effort on someone else’s man if in reach. Such a competitive and heady player.
If this dude could shoot consistently, we'd be in such a better position. He's a fantastic role player as is, but man... he seems to miss a lot of open 3's.
He's really contributing. Not only was he a decent scorer today, he actually facilitated well with Bron on the bench.
He just makes the right play in the right way more than most role players. He does all the small things so well. On defense he closes out correctly which allows him to stay close to players who are quicker. His hands are always in the right place to bother passes. On offense even when he’s not scoring, his movement and cuts lead defenders away from where they want to be defensively. It’s just beautiful watching him effect the game without putting up big numbers.
lol Dwight and AC are like those receivers who block well in the NFL. Not as flashy as the speedsters but teams end up spending money on them
If he could shoot consistently he'd probably be making 15mil/yr + Regardless I love his contributions.
I’m a big Caruso fan but I thought he was really good this game. Needs more consistent shooting but the kid does all the little things. His defense is really a plus.
Who would have thought that Caruso would legit make a run as being the Lakers 3rd best player? Yeah it's a huge stepdown from Lebron and AD and the rest of the crew but that's just insane he's gotten that much better.
He needs to hit his open 3s with more regularity, but he's been excellent so far in this series in all other facets...
