He's been sizzling hot since the restart. So good to see! Our third guy has finally emerged and he's doing it on both ends of the floor which is fantastic. And then the game winner tonight, icing on the cake! I'm so glad we held on to Kuz this year. I didn't want to trade him - I thought he had something left to show us. But the defense has been a bit of a revelation. I knew he could get better at it but didn't see this coming. Keep it up Kuz!
tyronn lue would have gotten a 4-point dunk on that play. but if you're just satisfied with winning games, yay i guess.
Nah don’t do that in these times. Let’s just say it was one of about 25 things we heard 300 times each 1st half of the season.
He's going to be a major determining factor for us, when the teams struggling to score he seems to find a way to get buckets when we need them most. He's been quite good in those scenarios lately. His length really throws a wrench in the gameplan for other teams, incredibly hard to guard this dude.
Only 5 of 14 from the field, 1 of 5 from three. 14 points. Nothing too crazy. But I liked the way he played out there. He’s the one roleplayer not afraid to take big shots, and even when he’s cold early I have confidence in him in the clutch. Felt like his play is what helped propel us into control temporarily in the fourth. We need to feature him more prominently in the offense, specifically playing off the attention from AD and Bron. I could be mistaken, but I feel like all three of them aren’t out there together all that often.
I thought he played well despite some missed shots. I'd give him most of Danny Green's minutes as he's playing some great D out there and is at least a threat to do something offensively besides brick like DG.
He needs to start, finish and just play more minutes on the floor. I don't care if KCP or Green or McGee get fewer minutes. Kuzma's D, rebounding and offense has been better
He's been our bubble MVP without question. I know that doesn't say much because we've been awful. Despite poor shooting, he brings a much better energy and confidence than anyone not named Bron or AD. He's the youngest guy in our rotation so we need to throw him a lion share of minutes. Give him Green's minutes. Get him more burn with the starters. I have much more faith in him than the rest of the supporting cast.
Highly impressed with Kuzma's defense. It's almost a completely different player. He used to bite for every fake and hit them with a foul. I saw Dudley teaching him how to not foul by just putting your hands straight up. Seems like it's working for him.
