Defense was on point from kuz - and his activity on the boards was huge for us. His shot is OFF right now - 0/4 from downtown and some of them wide open. He's not going to keep missing, that's for sure. Keep it up Kuz - we need the little things from you if you're not going to hit your 3s!
Liked his rebounding and defense. Need to keep going to the basket if his 3’s not dropping. I really hope something clicks with his shooting between now and April.
He actually has more potential then Horry but Horry was the clutchest role player in NBA history so, Kuzma would need a 10 year run to know if he could be better.
He had a great game. Earned every minute and he was our most active defender next to AD I felt. Also he went for the offensive rebound aggressively, which is a must for him. Liked his stance on D, his resilience and his intelligent movements (not biting on pump fakes and closing lanes). He needs that three ball though. He must space the court for AD and LeBron. Also him missing wide open shots usually end up in fast break counters and we get exposed.
Thought he played great. I can deal with the shooting woes if he’s going to impact the game on both ends like that.
Since February, Kuzma is shooting 20% from three. He's much better than that. I don't know if it is mental but he's had wide open shots and missed them badly. Let's hope he heats up these remaining games and comes into the playoffs streaking hot. He can't possibly shoot as bad as he is right now... it can only go UP UP UP!
If he keeps up his play, he never will, or at least he shouldn't. But NBA is full of dumb owners/gm's.
Kuz thinks he’s a cutting edge fashion trendsetter instead of someone who looks like a dork wearing stupid looking stuff. LakersBall Guy
