Kuzma is seriously improving on D. He's inconsistent on that end just like his offense but it's becoming more frequent enough that's its not surprising

Just needs to put it all together

Definitely played some good D against the Bucks. If he didn't have the talent or tools then his game wouldn't be nearly as frustrating. He can't put it all together, at least not with his role here. I'm going to hope for the best, expect the inconsistencies, just hope for effort until hopefully June. Then hopefully Rob can find something that works best for both parties.

Did Kuz get taller or did I just not notice how tall dude is?

Great hustle so far against the Clips.

But he just can't make open threes. I don't care how much he worked on it. It's as terrible as last year.

Kuzma's shot was off but his defense, hustle, and rebounding more than made up for it. This was a huge game for Kuzma and I hope he realizes that as long as he does the other things, he will have done his job. Just gotta knock those shots down as well!

Another solid defensive game and you can see the improvement: his defensive stance looks a lot lower to the ground to me and he's not jumping to get to his spot but rather trying to move his feet laterally. He deserves kudos for trying to improve on those things that don't necessarily standout in the box score

He made a lot of good plays out there. The shot isn’t there but I’ll take that kind of effort from him.

I was hoping he’d pump fake those threes and take it to the rim like he did against the Bucks. Did a lot of other things well though including some big offensive rebounds.

I have to admit he's growing on me. Back in the day, everybody loved him for his offense and "it factor" which I personally didn't see, I'm very impresed to see him earning minutes with everything but the offense. He had a very nice game against the tenants.

So he's developing into Andre Robertson ?:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Played very well on D but man the missed wide open corner 3 before the end the 3rd quarter was frustrating

He is actually getting better as an all around player. He just lacks offensive confidence, which is odd to say considering his aggressiveness last season. He should keep improving and hopefully he will get that feeling with his shot and put it all together.

Feel like not working with Pops on the Olympic team much set back a real developmental opportunity. He is a good rebounder with his height and follows the ball well. His D shows flashes every now and then. Feel like his confidence is down, but if he keeps mixing up his floater, three and drives to the hoop he can do contribute. Feel like next year will be his year which is a shame since we are trying to win a chip this year. Would like to keep him next year, unless we have a serious game changer we can get.

Glad he has lost the Slim Shady halloween hair do, hope it can signify a focusing his eye on the prize.

Apologies to Kuz for calling him trash LOL

Honestly though, love the hustle plays. He was setting a tone out there. Defense and rebounding is how we're going to win #17.

He gave a lot of energy on defense and on the board. He was hustling like crazy there. Good long term strategy for him to earn minutes on the team. He knows his minutes gonna get cut because he has Caruso/Waiters/Morris to replace him if he sucks

Having said that he needs to convert his open looks...missed a few corner 3s which were wide open tonight

Is there a Robert Horry upside to Kuz?

He is just not a good shooter. His defense has improved a lot, the effort is there and all that. But he is never going to become a sniper... he’s more of a slasher. Right now he needs to find a way to contribute consistently, and if it’s by playing D and rebounding, so be it. That’s acceptable for this season.
