If I see Lakers finishing games with Dion and Rondo in the 4th quarter and the jello ain't jiggling in the refrigerator from a blowout, I'm going to have a stroke
Worst kept secret in sports. I just hope this man can prove himself to be worth it. This might really be his last opportunity.
So true! This potentially being his last opportunity is exactly what we said about Dwight. I hope Dion brings the same effort, energy and good behavior as Dwight has.
Not even close to a surprise. I was opposed to the signing but I'm just going to trust the FO, Lebron and AD on this one. If Waiters can bring something to the table, cool. If not, not the biggest deal in the world as Daniels wasn't going to get any time.
As long as if Waiters struggles, he’s cool riding the pine in the playoffs. Once the rotation is shortened in the postseason, I doubt he sees much burn regardless.
I am going to be all positive now. His workout was probably very good and Bron/AD were OK with it. He's exactly what we need as long as he's mentally ready. If not, he'll ride the pine; this is his last chance IMO. He better talk to Dwight ASAP. Also, don't play him too much with Rondo, please.
LeBron hated Waiters, so his interviews and discussions with him and management must have been pretty convincing. I'll stay optimistic about the signing since above all else, Waiters can create and score, and we severely needed that on this team when LeBron goes to the bench.
How do he and Reggie Jackson stack up if comparing this pickup to what the Clippers got from their Mintz connection?
