That was a risky play for him coming that hard at the ball and backboard with his arm and hand high and his body passed under it. Tweaked his wrist it seemed for a few moments before re-entering the game, and the “AD is injury prone” contingent was already cracking on him. Armchair warriors for the win as usual.

He will need to start using ice packs for his entire body if he continues like this.

Someone reported earlier in the season that AD is actually supposed to have surgery on his arm but because the Lakers are contenders and he wants to change the narrative that he is soft, he opted to play through it. I'm sure if we had no shot at the playoffs, he'd probably have opted for the surgery. It was someone pretty credible too but I guess no one really cared since he was playing so well. At the end of the day, we likely keep #1 seed and AD will have enough time to rest up. If he does not perform in the playoffs, we can grab the pitchforks. Until then, he's been an elite player regardless of how soft he is. Imagine if we had to play against AD and LeBron... We are too damn spoiled to be complaining!

Just another day at the office for AD. Some spectacular defensive moves and hustle from him in that decisive third quarter. Nice to see him rest the entire fourth with the game in hand.

I've seen AD bully Jokic, Gobert, and other bigs such as KAT/Embiid in the post. Why is this guy not beating down these much smaller defenders? Maybe they have a lower center of gravity and have quicker hands? I just don't get it. I saw him settle for too many jumpers/fadeaways/step-backs. I hope this is him just practicing these shots for the playoffs. We need him to bully the post and score easy buckets.

In some part, ive noticed the Shaq and lebron treatment by refs. Maybe subconsciously they feel smaller defenders are allowed a certain leeway in grabbing, holding, and hacking bigger players to level the playing field?

he definitely wasn't forcing the issue early last night, leading to some lame attempts in the first quarter. you could tell he noticed how lame he looked, so he tried to bull baseline, got hacked with no call for a fast break the other way.

we need to figure out how to get him more touches moving towards the basket (aside from lobs). he's got a good handle for a big and is very agile with a variety of finishing options. but we seem to only want to get him iso'd in the high post. that's fine--he's good there. but mixing it up would have defenses guess a bit more.

I like the minutes he played - we need more blowout wins where he's playing 25 minutes like last night.

Then again - Warriors got g-league players out there...

Could have played better... i mean, kids combined for 61/14/17 ffs. AD is slacking if you ask me, who the hell cares about the W's right? I hope he gets his s*** together and make me forget about the young studs/future hall of famers we traded for him :(

The Pelicans Dream Team fell to the KAT-less Minnesota Timberwolves that is expected to be tanking for the rest of the season. I wonder if David Griffin wishes he could have AD back with Zion+Jrue instead...

That was one of my favorite AD games as a Laker. Pulled out some ridiculous moves, hitting some big shots. Great energy on both sides of the floor -- diving, deflections, blocks, running the floor. 26 & 7... in the first half

How many bigs can do that?

    At least according to Vogel

That second quarter in particular was just sensational. Thank goodness we have this guy.
