i mostly agree, except for the "can't make it work" part. he can't be a 20ppg scorer next to lebron and AD. but he is a 25-30mpg rotation player on a 1st place team. his percentages and per-minute production aren't really down compared to years 1 and 2. he came in as an experienced guy who was already physically mature, so the growth curve wasn't going to be astronomical.

his advanced stats are down in large part due to the fact that he plays without lebron a lot, and everybody who does that looks bad since like, forever. it's a function of how lebron teams are built, imo.

anyway, he pretty much is what he is. and he looks like he'll have a 10-year career as a rotation player in the nba, which is outstanding for a 27th overall pick. he's just not going to be an allstar.

good thing we have two superstars!

Looks like something Kuz would wear.

we’ll see him again. Scoring 20ppg for a lotto team. Question is will I have to deal with folks claiming we gave up the future when it happens.

He does have talent, but I question his attention span. Maybe his off court activities mean he can't stay laser focused on things easily? Maybe that correlates to his ability to stay focused in the game where he's getting less minutes in different situations thereby making focus all the more important?

Once again, I saw Kuz doing good things out there on the court yesterday, making plays for others, making decent reads. He's playing less selfishly and I think it fits the team concept better. I'd like to see his shooting percentage increase a bit, it's a little subpar lately, but it wasn't for lack of trying last game. His shots were good and had the one three from the top of the key gone down instead of going down and coming back out he would have been at 50% on the day. He's still got the nice runner working and he's making the extra pass. I like what I see from him. With the Morris addition at the 4 this should work in Kuz's favor to play more SF.

I waver on this guy this year, but I’m really hoping he has some of the inner mamba left that he showed last season now that Morris is here. We need another streaky scoring assassin to set off that 2nd unit. Come on Kuz, time is running out!

Good game from Kuz. Had a couple of bonehead defensive sequences where he was gambling and gave easy buckets to Tatum and Hayward but he will learn. He's getting his hand on the ball and going to work on the glass. Good to see. I think he knows his minutes are going to get cut short when Markieff arrives.

Tatum has reached an elite level, while kuzma this year is what, an average or slightly above average player? Kuzma out there always looks like he's stumbling and fumbling while making a move, while Tatum moves with fluidity and always seems in control

Hate to say it, but by some statistical measurements, he's well below average.
