some players look worse than they should because it's not easy to play with other stars (Like Lebron) it' not easy to be a great fit without major sacrifice

but if it was an issue, you'd think we'd have pulled the trigger on something else. Maybe the value is best in the offseason, teams were asking too much, or we're holding onto hope that he turns it around. One can hope, because at his peak, he's a fantastic scorer and a much needed weapon. Part of his lack of production is on the coaching staff.

    but his sense of fashion......

I think he came into the league too easy, immidiately starting and getting 15 shots per game...he didn't have to work hard to get there...he was there and boom he was scoring 20 a night and was a rising star.

It gets into your head I think, especially when you are a young guy with a lot of confidence. Whether it be justified or not. After that Kuz started to date girls, be fashionable with his clothes...

I remember one guy criticizing him in Instagram like: "What the hell are you wearning?" and Kuz response was: "Something you will never be afford to buy".

So there is a lot of growing up to do. And being in LA, having hot chicks follow you all day and playing for a contender...it sounds like a lot of fun, but it doesn't sound like a lot of old school focus and old school WORK.

I'm happy to not judge too harshly until the end of the year. Some players will show up and shine when it counts the most. Do we have any of them?

Will guys that have been underwhelming so far this season show out? If not, very few players on the roster may be worth keeping next season. I think we are seeing how difficult it is to play with Lebron. It's best to have the right fit next to him for them to get the most out of their abilities, and not all players are able or willing to adjust their games to a player on the home stretch of his career.

I'm pulling for Kuz to prove all of the doubters wrong and to make us feel good about keeping him in the trade.

^I don't think keeping him in the trade was really a choice the Lakers actively made...

Obviously NO wasn't going to do the trade without BI or Lonzo. And Kuz is still more valuable to me than Josh Hart or a late 1st round pick. So I do think that was the correct move.

Just because she has pictures of meat on her page, doesn't mean she makes it for Kuz. I'm assuming she cooks for other people too.

Not gonna go and pick through all her posts, but she has #cookingforkuz where she’s cooked numerous dishes with meat. Feel free to see her posts in the link previously provided.

"Fake" veganism :giggle: or maybe Hybrid veganism? Saw some kind of prepared egg sitting on top of a dish with a video clip closeup of the yoke being mixed down into the rest of it. Seriously am not knocking her or the dishes, just taking a semi humorous slant toward it because of how humorous Kuz looked in his Vanity after Oscars photo. Always thought vegan was strictly no meat and no poultry including egg and no dairy. But also certain whatever her personal philosophy toward that it's a lot more healthy than most of us eat.

I am also a hybrid vegan. Sometimes I do eat meat and animal products - such as eggs, and sometimes I don’t.

I read from OC Register that Kuz was a vegan for a few weeks:LLLLLebronsniveling: which mean his suckiness and lack of strength cannot be blamed on his diet:Bangbrick4::PauExplode:

You mean for "only" a few weeks? To make sense with what you're implying Kareem?

Yeah. Wasn't trying to come off combative. I just clicked on it and I didn't see specific Kuz pics. :Beertoast2:

I felt better when I assumed he wasn’t eating any meat. It was easier to blame consuming too much kelp consumption for his slow season than to think he just fell off. But, I’m going to take diet out of the excuse list now.

What's left on that list? Please let me know, so I can keep trying to feel better about him too.

Honestly, I think he's just a talented offensive player that needs a lot of shots to be remotely effective. In years past, we were able to provide that for him. Now that we have two legit options, he can't make it work. No excuses. That's just the reality.
