He was great on defense but man he bricked some easy shots in the 4th that would have put the game away.
Great sign that he was able to put that aside and knock down the two open looks from 3 in OT. Vogel giving a glimpse of what the AD/Lebron playbook is going to look like in the playoffs

No complaints here. 33, 10 and 2 blocked shots? Yes. Big time win tonight.

    Excellent game allround.

I still think we gotta do better than that in overtime...with the game on the line I'm not sure I want to see AD taking b2b threes...he made it, yes, great. But had he missed it, I'd be furious.

Bad decisions turned into heroic performances...

Played great, but I was especially impressed by those clutch defensive stops.

i thought he looked out of it in the first quarter, too. he seemed to snap into it by the second quarter, though. it was weird.

been doing that all year, all career. it's why he's so valuable. being a 25ppg guy who demands a double team in the post makes it almost unfair.

Man AD needs to work on his post game. He had so many chances he waited on for the defense to double him.

Jokic was giving him the baseline almost everytime, he figured it out once and spun for a dunk and 1. But AD needs to work with Hakeem on better post footwork, he would dominate. Doesn’t have to be physical either, just reading what the defender gives him.

He obviously struggles against physical defenders, but if he uses basic footwork and fakes, he’ll murder them.

Have been thinking the same thing basically all season long. If he could just add 2-3 reliable post-up moves he would be unfair to the rest of the league. I love him as is, but how great would be if he worked with Hakeem or Kareem during the summer? He doesn't need to be more physical per se, just be able to operate with more confidence in the paint. With his handles and soft touch, it shouldn't be very difficult for him to learn more moves there as well.

If he had BI's work ethic he would be better by now. And I'm not joking. Because I agree with @SamsonMiodek above .... AD should have at least progressed that far in post skills by now to take advantage of his height and quickness and strength and ball handling skills. When Ingram gets to that age his repertoire on offense will surpass where AD is now. I predict / honestly expect. Basketball is all he does. S. Meat will agree.

But again, possibly affecting what we see him doing on the floor this year, I will say AD may be doing what he safely can in managing an injured to some level shoulder? If he is he's doing it pretty magnificently. Haven't seen a grimace of pain on his face about the shoulder since the first month or so. But these semi reputable doctor types on line posted here, or at least one I remember .... was describing the surgery AD would "need" or "should" have in the off season if he could play through it.

If AD took one clue from Kobe for his game he should go train with Hakeem this summer. AD has the agility to emulate the Dream's post moves if he ever gains an inclination to learn them.

he already has the fade-away down. A little dream shake gives him some more separation.

Hakeem worked with Howard too .... right? Heck AD can keep it all in house in private and just have Dwight tutor him.

did people not see the baseline dreamshake move from the game...just last night? he's got pretty good footwork, tbh.

he doesn't have great recognition of where bodies are on the floor (honestly, much like BI), so he misses some opportunities, but i think he has actually demonstrated great footwork on many occasions, this season and in the past.

he's not a banger and never will be. that's ok. the league isn't kind to those guys anyway. he'll get better at figuring out--within our offense--when that baseline is likely to be open, etc.

i do agree that a nice little running hook would make him even tougher to guard. but make no mistake: if he catches within 15, you better send another guy.

Not bad for a souped up Ben Wallace.
