I asked a couple weeks ago but no one bit. How would you “lock down savants” out there now compare the strengths and weaknesses of AC’s vs Lonzo’s defensive games and who’s better now?
WOW!! What a heady play. That immediate outlet chest pass to Bron late in the game was awesome too. And his great cut and finish laying it up high over the defender in traffic after catching LBJ’s pass. You can tell Bron recognizes the “Baller” in the Eagle.
He's just smart, plays the right way. He's not a big scorer and he certainly isn't a great playmaker, but he knows exactly what he can and can't do and plays accordingly. I really enjoy watching him play.
I think people assume because Caruso is shorter and balder that he's the inferior athlete. I don't think that's the case, especially in terms of fast twitch and reflexes. Caruso is way quicker in terms of reaction time. One could also argue that if Caruso had Kuzma's lack of conscience he'd score more points
Criminal that he doesn't play more. He's slowly becoming a building block. 25 years old, smart, deceptively athletic (i.e. white), great defender, improving shot...Out of all the kids we've had over the past few years, who would have thought Caruso might be the third best of the lot after Ingram and Russell.
