He was excellent tonight. Solid scoring and boards, 50% shooting . . . but most importantly great D on Westbrook in the second half.

He plays well against good teams and bad against bad teams .

Something to keep in mind for the playoffs

I think Kuz’s issue is that he struggles against athletic frontlines. Plus, he should only facilitate in spurts. It’s not his game and the Orlando game was kind of a good case study.

    That’s my .02

can we get some sort of kuz trade meter that only swings violently between "nevah!" and "for IT"?

Ingram would have guarded harden AND westbrook.

I've been relatively quiet for five days.

Remember that people are still making baiting comments even when I'm saying nothing.

    You're right @Sentient Meat.

I get that we're joking, but if you don't want to draw him into making more comments about the topic, please don't bait, and in general baiting isn't allowed.

Barns... I don't mind bantering... I could argue for days. I think the comments are funny myself.

I shut up for the sake of the community and they are still taking veiled digs whenever possible.

I guess either people should stop or the mods should let me speak freely.

Sorry; but forums should be inhospitable to such behavior. I could be less funny about it.

    Way to go Coach Rondo.

It took Kuz a little while to get into a groove, but he did look much better on both sides of the ball in the second half.

The pendulum would swing so violently, the pivot would likely break after one game.

maybe this is part of the reason you keep Rondo. He saw something the coaches didn't see.

Like it or not their player efficiency is virtually the same.

One creates and passes... the other rebounds and defends a little.

I already conceded that it was a bad idea after I saw IT play against us this year... but since people keep bringing it up... their production is almost the same. You are all calling a trade for two mediocre players laughingly one sided when sadly there's not much difference this season.

Baiting isn’t always obvious to outside observers.

To the casual observer the thing you’re reporting as baiting might be good natured ribbing between people that have developed that kind of relationship. We don’t really know unless it becomes obviously excessive and reported by the person being baited (as you rightly did).

Otherwise, we’re not going to be heavy handed and intervene when not nessisary.

As for Mod comments, I don’t think anyone told you not to post, just keep it in one thread. We don’t want the same off topic conversation going on in multiple threads because it’s annoying for people that don’t want to read about it.

Kuzma needs to just continue to focus and work. He is only missing doing well, game in and game out. He has the game. This years playoffs will be his ultimate test. I think he will win a few games for the Lakers and prove his worth.

Kind of topic, but you're great Barns; more than fair.

I know this might not be the active Lakers forum, but with terms of how it's ran and quality, it's up there

Thanks for doing a heck of a job.
