Do you think if I simply said Ingram is not a fringe all star that anyone would believe it?

I wish that's all I'd need to say but the stubborn Ingram haters need to see proof.

Even when presented with proof they will say it's the wrong kind of scoring or bad advanced analytics.

Very few players score at his level and efficiency and do not turn into all star players.

    And I presented that argument.

What haters? Many of us didn't want to see Ingram go but this is Anthony Davis we're talking about here. If we went back in time to 1984 and you had the chance to trade James Worthy for Larry Bird, would you do it? Or suppose you're 2001 Sac and you could trade Chris Webber for Tim Duncan?

BI is an all star talent. Anthony Davis is a generational talent. That's the difference that for some reason you're stubbornly arguing against in spite of all overwhelming evidence. You do what you have to do to get the deal done and our record proves that. New Orleans record, not so much.

Honestly I have no idea who here would qualify as a "stubborn Ingram hater." I've never seen a poster who would fit that description here. He was the youngster on our team that the majority of folks here wanted to keep in any trade scenario. I don't think there's any secret about the fact that he was our most talented two way player of our string of number 2 draft picks. He was most people's favorite as well although there have been a couple DLO fans, and I most wanted to keep Lonzo of the bunch personally.

But haters? No way. I think most posters here understand that you give to get. Dr. Buss understood that pretty well. I know that to you it may not have been worth it, but obviously Ingram has a ways to go to approach the development and overall skill level of a guy like AD. Not to mention that it's hard to imagine a more perfect body type for a basketball player than AD. Almost 7 feet tall, big shoulders, long limbs. He reminds me a bit of slightly smaller, young Kareem.

For Cleveland? I don't know, but... He really doesn't have to be, I don't think.

With him should be an easy win without him could be tough: they've been playing well as Love and Thompson are trying to play there way into a trade

Butt injury is a blessing in disguise, it’s getting him some rest, we’re still winning, and Kuz has stepped up in his absence. When we get him back we’ll be better for it all, and he’ll have gotten a little time off.

    Is AD playing tonight?

I kind of hope he's not playing - let Kuzma get a bit more confidence.
