AD getting butt hurt might be the best thing that happened to our season. Kuz had his chance and killed it.
No way we’re gonna get equal value for a guy dropping 36 for 1.9 million, so let’s put that to bed please? Instead let’s focus on signing Collison and finding someone (anyone please) capable of making Kawhi and PG13 at least have to work to get their shots off in the WCF. That’s all we’re missing.
Exactly as I’ve been saying. We don’t need another scorer. Kuz is that guy. We just need the team and Vogel to focus on getting him going, running plays for him, or even if they’re not running plays, focus on getting him the ball in positions to attack and score. It’s a mistake to treat Kuz like a role player in our offense. He’s much more valuable than that. He’s also no longer a liability on defense. He’s not great, but he’s also not the terrible defender he was in years past We still need Collison, but yes, these last few games are great examples of how good Kuz can be if utilized correctly.
I’d like to see him play with this confidence with lebron and AD. He actually guarded Kawhi decently.
Yes he needs more reps as a PNR ballhandler , and as ballhandler in general . There will be more ups and downs but it should be the focus in the 2nd part of the season as we are comfortably sitting in the 1st place with an soft schedule left
We do need Collison. Rondo pisses me off and it seems the ball stops somewhat when he is “facilitating.” He does some good things once in a while but it is mostly bad. A good PG is one who can get guys in good positions to score. I liked how Kuz actually did some of the facilitating last night. It allowed him to choose his spots and that was one of many reasons why he was efficient. I thought his shot selection was better too. It definitely was his best game in a while. I also thinks he looks better with Caruso. Did I already say that Rondo pisses me off?
I agree - don’t trade Kuz. Get a PG and feature Kuz off the bench, so he can become that 3rd option for us. Sometimes even 2nd, it would help Bron tremendously.
I still think he's been decent this season - I mean, if you're expecting him to be a star, I don't think that happens. However, he is way too talented for him not to have an impact - i.e remaining scoreless in a game. And we'll everybody is loving the shot-making ability, I am more impressed by the little things when he does do them; the extra pass to KCP for the corner 3, the lob to Dwight for the dunk. He has a "gravity" on offense (when he's on) that only AD and James bring on this roster; and his defense has been better, too. Let's see what he does against: Hou, Philly, Boston, and the Clips this month in a more reduced role. Weeeeeeee
He's a perfect stretch 4 for today's NBA. I know AD prefers playing PF but if he can tough it out and play Center more often, it will open up all sorts of scoring opportunities with Lebron and Kuzma in the frontcourt. AD has to suck it up at some point and toughen up, I know he doesn't wanna bang with other centers. But Kuzma has to do his part and defend the paint and cover his guy better too on the other end and not risk AD with foul trouble
