He's been bringing it all year - I have no idea where we'd be without Dwight off the bench. There's zero drop-off when he comes in - that's the key
Sounds like “fun” well, he’s not making squat this year, so if it makes him happy, good for him I’ve been wholly unimpressed with his shot of stone around the hoop. If it’s not a layup or dunk, it’s not going in. It’s like his free throw stroke. You’re shocked if it goes in, but at least he’s really just focused on what he’s good at these days.
Many centers today are simply rebounders, defenders, and dunkers. There's just not a high enough emphasis on posting up anymore because it takes too much time off the shot-clock and isn't as easy to get as a wide open three.
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...antee-dwight-howard-contract-remainder-season Well deserved for Dwight!
The same Howard (with Atlanta) who hit the side of the backboard attempting a bank shot...? Unbelievable.
Another game, another forearm shiver delivered... Funny sequence last night when Doncic got low trying to box him out and Howard went around throwing him off like a rag doll.
Howard is going to have to be careful in the playoffs with his throwing guys to the side. It doesn’t get called a lot on him but we can’t afford to have him in foul trouble.
He's been sensational: the reduced minutes with McGee starting and the defined role in LA and he looks like Orlando Dwight. Crazy he's actually playing the way you would expect a third player of a Big 3 would be
Absolutely sensational game from Dwight. 21 and 15 in 25 minutes!!! Player of the game. His energy was so infectious too. Oh yeah, another three also, LOL!
