Kuzma starts tonight. AD sits. Gonna see if Kuzma plays better starting. This is the last one to see.
No excuse for Kuzma. This is what his supporters have been clamoring for. He will play 30+ minutes, mostly with LeBron in the same lineup. If he plays well, it could mean we keep or it increases his trade value and interest around the league. No Kristaps and the Mavs have a small lineup out there... Should be the perfect circumstance for Kuzma to get his game on.
marcus morris and a 1st from them (they have some from dallas). not sure how to make salaries match, though. but i'd consider it. morris brings what you want kuz to bring. kuz has room to grow and fan appeal, which ny needs.
That's my thought process. If we're bringing Morris back, I think it would have to be a 3-way deal - But yeah, Morris would be ideal...
Yeah I love Kuz but would say bye for Morris. He's a perfect bench big to carry the scoring load when AD sits. I love his 43% three ball. He fits LeBron's window.
I can’t take Kuz seriously with that hair, I just can’t. He looks like Devon Sawa as Stan mixed with Justin Bieber from the I’m the One video.
Kuz got it done! No AD, Kuz puts up 26 points, 6 boards, and two very nice feeds. That first half was stellar. He was a huge part of our win tonight.
Very good game by Kuz. Definitely stepped up and helped fill up the scoring with AD missing. His defense, though not against a very good frontcourt, was much better than I expected. If he plays well vs the Thunder, it will change a huge narrative about him and maybe that pushes his confidence and game to a more comfortable level.
What happened to him in the middle of the third: he started airballing open shots. Strange as he was really good till then
That corner airball when he was wide open really pissed me off because Mavs started making a comeback and it looked like we should have been really blowing them out with how well we played.
He needs to hit the weight room: he's actually trying on defense but he doesn't get low in his stance and doesn't have great core strength I think what happened thinking about the game is he was awesome with Javale and Howard in there to clean the glass and be the inside threat. That all changed when they went out and him and Lebron were the "bigs". Dallas crashed the glass and got a bunch of boards which I think wore him out a bit having to play inside and take the beating. They put in Dudley who just has more mass and that righted the ship: still a good sign for him he ain't going to be in that weird small lineup in the playoffs unless AD is hurt and the Lakers are going to lose most likely anyways if that happens
Good game. I was rooting for him to score 30, and judging by the terrible shots he took in mop up time so was he.
Haven’t seen him put two halves together. Seems to have big first halves then disappear in the second. Maybe one or two exceptions this year. Also haven’t seen him hit clutch shots down the stretch too much. Remember that Celts game last year? Where is that guy? He missed 2 late that would have likely changed the outcome on Christmas Day. I wish he would play with more of a chip. Not Beverly or Kobe like chips, but some sort of focus. Also, he needs to finish better when he drives. Soft-like and doesn’t like contact.
