He's got to be better with rotations - if he's running an archaic offense (which he is), he has to be on point with other things for the most part; closing the game with Rondo and having KCP on Kawhi for any period of time just can't happen...
Frank, I have one simple request: For the love of all things holy, STOP PLAYING RONDO AND BRADLEY TOGETHER!
He killed the spacing even more with Bradley back in the starting 5 and wait too long to put him on the bench in the 3rd when Floppers were coming back
Is it his offense, or Lebron running it? When Lebron is out, the offense does move better. Stars do what stars will do though. We need Lebron's buy in on a different approach than him holding the ball on the 3 pt line for 25 seconds before launching a deep step back 3. (Exaggeration for effect)
The offense is archaic. He's our best playmaker - outside of him, we have some actions that we run, but when teams stop our initial actions, we have no counters. Outside of that, it's throw the ball into Anthony Davis; and that doesn't really optimized him the way we should be... In all honesty, Vogel has been a** the last 4 games.
Vogel is exposing himself a bit last 4 games - and I think that our team being fully healthy is making his job a bit difficult too. We got too many guys - we need to consolidate. And this whole Political Rondo BS is really pissing me off - I hope Rob finds a way to get him off this roster.
Caruso with only 11 minutes. The Lakers top 3 lineups all year have had AD/Bron/Caruso in there. Give him some burn
Frank and his lack of creativity on the offensive end isn't surprising - nevertheless, it really lacks creativity... And with no offensive mind on the bench, it isn't going to get any better...imo
I'm monitoring how he'll handle the Rondo situation - lots of politics at play...does he have the balls to bench Rondo and play Caruso 30 minutes a night?
I'm thoroughly questioning Vogel's DNP decisions for Cook, Daniels and Dudley lately when we are short handed and Rondo sucks. I'm thinking we must be keeping them out for a trade - maybe it's the rumored Augustin move. Otherwise those guys should be playing right now. Overworking Lebron at 37-38 minutes a game is not sustainable. We might get away with it once in a while as an exception but not as the rule as it is currently.
He needs to be playing Kuzma way more - it's inexcusable to play LeBron/AD 38 mpg when Kuzma is healthy.
How is it inexcusable? LeBron and AD have had to play 38 minutes per game precisely because players like Kuzma can't step up. It's literally Kuzma's fault to a large extent. If he can be more of an efficient scorer and shot-creator, we wouldn't be sitting here talking about why Rondo handles the ball so much. Kuzma's inability to handle the ball is why Frank feels he has to allow Rondo to do so.
This team is Lebron run offense. That is the other problem. The only way you can get away from it is if you get a PG who can penetrate to the basket regularly. If you do not do that, it wont work.
