    honest people?

dude, c'mon. they won 42% of the games.

this entire page disagrees. well, at least you like attempting.

lebron's probably the best ever. if not, it's kareem, your other favorite comparison. let's pick tobias harris or jimmy butler or something, since that's the tier you keep trying to put AD on.

and the answer is probably a lot in the eastern conference, particularly prior to the the three point revolution, when AD would have been even more valuable.

it's fun to make outlandish assumptions (that recent history flies in the face of). so now you'd have been ok with trading ingram for a 1st. but not ingram and some meh picks for AD? got it.

global warming is real and factual--it's actually happening. you should worry about that instead of ingram's stardom, which is none of those things.

AD is a perennial all nba player in his prime that plays for your (purportedly) favorite team. do the sane thing here.

You parse a bunch of my comments like a seasoned attorney and take them out of context and you want to lecture me on honesty?

That's a good one. Credit to you for creativity though.

You said I chose the nadir... I was unaware that you considered the entire 21st century the nadir.

AD is better than Tobias. Not sure if he'd lead the Heat as they are to a better record than Jimmy. Jimmy's disadvantage was his age.

My point about Ingram is that if we had to clear space for AD... you do it. What you don't do is clear six pieces imo.

I would have tried to sign him when his value was down... but sure, if the choice was between signing AD or BI... in that scenario would I trade him to clear space next season.

We don't know what Ingram will become yet... but thank you for telling us all about your trip into the future.

Comparing AD vs the kids or any other star is nonsensical at this point.

As it's becoming blatantly obvious, Lebron + AD is the best duo since Kobe + Shaq.

It's like having the destructive force of 3-4 superstars with 2 players.

You can't replace that sort of impact with any other player (or combination of players).

So yeah, sorry. It had to be AD. And it had to be now.

Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless says the Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis is a top contender for both MVP and DPOY right now,
Even biggest hater knows that ,but why he's analyst

AD is, without any doubt, DPOY.

I have a feeling that we d****** stumbled into LeBron and, subsequently, AD.

Which makes me iffy on believing in any actual changes in the FO. I am not sure that any upcoming controversy wouldn't send us scrambling and making stupid decisions. It's Rambii after all...

So, I'll wait for the only achievement that matters and that can't be undone - the title.

I mostly agree with the stumbling part, but I am also impressed by how they have filled in the team with quality role players. The season has been nothing but a huge positive surprise so far. There is not one player on our team I don’t like at the moment.

Yeah. Lebron wanted to play for the Lakers to help his brand and cache in Los Angeles. That led to AD asking to come here. Vogel was our third choice for coach. The role players? Dwight is here because Cousins, against all odds, blew out his knee in the freaking offseason. Bradley was attainable because he played like crap for two years.

I am in agreement that we sort of fell into this team and that if anyone not named Jim Buss/Mitch Kupchak was GM, this would have happened.

This is the possibly significant difference between Magic and Rob.

Not signing shooters and combining kids with talented but flaky players like Beasley and Lance who didn't fill the needed holes.

That's why I'm guilty of saying what if, because if you combine the young core with this group of vets and shooters... I think we would have been a playoff team, although not as good as with AD. But then we could have still signed AD next season and kept the best of the kids and traded some to clear room.

The true test will be next season... If Rob can keep both Dwight and Boogie and find some similar role players or retain what we have then you know it's more than luck on his part.

We 100% got lucky. I mean, Lebron save our butts. He was hell bent on becoming a Laker. He joined a s***ty team (wasting at least a year of his career), hoping/knowing we could get AD. He says all the right things. He plays the right way. Teammates seems to love him, i became a fan and gained a hell lot of respect for him.
As for the FO... they got lucky with Vogel as well. We almost got Lue ffs ;)
Would love if Rambii was a thing of the past. Pelinka seems ok at the moment.

Lots of luck, but it’s all relative. We had some s***ty luck the previous several years, too. And our management isn’t great, but it’s hard to be worse than maglinka’s first year.
