good in spurts if he continues to hit his 3s. hes the only guard in the roster that's healthy now that attacks the paint consistently n either makes a nice layup attempt or gets one of our shooters open looks, bradley is the other guard that does this

Love the 3pt shooting. Hope it continues, even 37-40% would be lovely

You don’t make these decisions off 1 game

He was beyond awful last game

His net rating is still awful and a bottom pg defender. Looked bad on d even tonight, got bailed out at times

    He dies on screens

That’s looks pretty great until you see the record against teams over .500

much less impressive, and I’m ok with that

we need solid, we’ll coached, playoff bound teams to expose our flaws and keep the team hungry and busy working on weaknesses. Good teams make you dig deeper into your bag of tricks in order To succeed. They will take away your 1st, 2nd, and third options, and make you beat them another way.

solid well coached teams have made us look very average, and that’s good. What IS awesome is that we have been beating who we should be beating along the way.

we have ALSO come down from some pretty big deficits to win games as well. All great signs.

Kinda like the Shaq Kobe days

If it wasn’t the Glen Rice year, then it was someone different each game. We definitely need more than two consistent offensive weapons though.

Rondo is still not a volume shooter but boy, his 3 point percentage has been great this year (45%)

He has shot better than 35% in 5 of the last 6 seasons...thats not exactly great for todays standards, but its definitely serviceable.

When his threes fall, they are nothing but net...

Arguably, it was probably Bradley until he went down.

And Rondo hasn't been our 3rd best player. The metrics show it; and if we break down film, I am sure the film will show it.

He's been wildly inconsistent; oddly, the one thing that has been consistent is his outside shooting.

And he should be taking those because teams are completely disrespecting him otherwise.

i thought he literally died on that one flop.

eh, are the other top teams' records against each other any better? i remember reading somewhere that the bucks are kicking butt, but several of their quality wins came against teams that were missing a top player. we've only lost three games, and we beat dallas in dallas and denver in denver. i'd say that so far, that's pretty good. we'll see how the month shakes out.

yeah, if you're going to be left that open, it mucks up the offense. i imagine you really need to shoot closer to 50% (like ol' bruce bowen in the corner) for it to counteract the negatives on that end.

but 40% is nothing to sneeze at, and rondo hasn't been singlehandedly losing us games.

    glad caruso closed last night.

Totally agree with you. I feel Rondo is a seasoned vet that turns up the juice when it really matters #PlayoffRondo

Folks act like we don’t need this dude...psh. Without any playmakers, Bron absolutely needs him. And at the vet min, it’s a no brainer. It’s the redundant single skill-setted players who can’t justify time on the court that need to go. Sorry, but I’m looking at you Elmer and Trey.

Rondo still can't play good D because his lateral quickness is gone. I mean totally gone. With that said, I am quite pleased with his effort this season. Look, his TOs are lower than ever. He takes care of the ball better, which was our major concern about him. He gives us, what... something like 9/3/6 with a PER of ~17 in 20 minutes, shooting his best FT% ever and getting close to 50% for 3 territory. He's attempted 31 threes in 11 games (!) and he's actually drilling them because teams are using the old strategy of daring him to shoot - but they pay for it every single time. If he steps up in the playoffs like he always does, man... he's gonna be useful. Except on D; he's done on defense, other people have to erase his mistakes, that's a given.

I thought Rondo played well last night. He took a lot of the point guard duties over for Lebron, so he could get more in game rest. It was nice to see Rondo and AD have some of that same New Orleans connection.

I do agree with you Vash, we need Rondo and his playmaking. I don't mind Daniels though at all. I liked that he knocked down shots last night in limited minutes. If he can continue to do that, he can be a good weapon.

I actually like our whole team (except KCP but he's playing ok in Bradley's absence). I just would love to add Iggy if at all possible.

I am probably his biggest critic - but he's been very good in these back-to-back games.
