Ingram definitely had a nice 2nd half against PHX...
    Like seeing him succeed.

same here, not pinning for him or anything but quite happy to see he's making the ones (like myself) predict that he would be come a star is looking more and more accurate. He needed to get away from the circus here, maybe when Zion comes back he takes a bit of a back seat but BI/Zion is going to be nice, Zo on the other hand mehhhh

I loved him too. I was so excited when the rumors started circulating that we might get to keep Ingram in the AD trade and the Pelicans wanted Kuz more.

If we're being honest though, Ingram probably wouldn't be doing this here. Him and Lebron's games overlap too much. Not comparing him to Lebron, but Lebron would take the ball out of his hands A LOT and he'd be marginalized in this offense.

I wanted to keep Ingram as the heir apparent... which obviously sounded absurd when he was struggling.

I never thought their games were complimentary... I figured with the thirteen year age gap that BI would be hitting his stride as LBJ faded.

BI is going to be a special player. Not even close to start of his prime and near unstoppable when healthy and on plus a great defender with that crazy length.

True ... He developed his 3 ball though and he would have been a fantastic option to have when Bron sits .

The title would be ours with BI instead of Kuz

BI is scoring more per game than Lebron James, has a higher 3P%, almost exactly the same on rebounds, higher shooting percentage, less TO's.

I think it's pretty clear we got robbed in that trade.

    The only stat that counts:

LeBron is 15-2. BI is 6-11.

As much as I like BI, if we don't make the trade, and every one of the kids had been healthy, the Lakers would probably be 10-7 right now.

Haha, oh so you can see me. I know you ain’t mine, but I can still be your pop.

I can teach you so many things, like how to clean up that upper lip of yours...or teach you that not everything ages like fine wine, Wino. I don’t know how long it’s been sitting in there, but you probably should flush that.

Anyways, I know you’ve showed some push back, but I’ll try to be around some more. I know your mom would like it.

Okay, I’ll stop cause I don’t want to further derail BI’s thread. But it’s ridiculous to think this dude can’t be a winner with a decent coach and some good players around him. If a defensive minded coach/system takes interest in developing that aspect of BI’s game, dude’s gonna take off. He’s handling heavy usage...

    https://stats.nba.com/players/usage/?sort=USG_PCT&dir=-1

...and shooting like this even with being shut down from upper body work this summer due to the upper DVT. Dude just turned 22 too. He may not be superstar level, but definitely a multiple allstar type.
