There was that stretch where he was trading baskets with them when it looked like they were going to go on a run. Good stuff KCP. Keep proving us all wrong.
Fantastic game from KCP tonight. Maybe one of his best as a Laker? At least when it matters (i.e. this year). Keep it up! He's as good now as he was bad at the start of the year - huge turnaround and right now he's finally earning that paycheck and helping to deliver wins.
Truly one of the most unexplainable players in the game. Went from missing wide open layups to cashing in on 70% of his shots.. Jesus
Personally, I agree with him. And while KCP did stink it up early in the season, he has come on stronger recently and is looking pretty darned good.
I didn't like that either but dang, Luke did a pretty terrible job with us last year. Say what you want, we under performed. I put 70% of it on Luke.
I'm giving 100% credit to Dwight for KCP's resurgence. Nowadays, players need uplifting on Instagram. It sounds lame but it's absolutely the truth...credit to Dwight for figuring that out and becoming a greeat teammate over the years!
Man, we got 12 guys who can contribute in a meaningful way. It's on the coaching staff to find them their spots where their contributions can be maximized.
What I have come to realize is when you have a team that can't win, everyone under performs. When the team smells hope they come together and people start playing better, with more conviction and intent. Lebron looked terrible on defense last year. He wasn't motivated, he knew that team was going nowhere. I think KCP went through the same thing with this team. I also think Luke lost the team.
The guys are all learning a new system and everyone is trying to understand where each guy can thrive. This doesn't happen overnight. New system, new coach, new players. They have ONLY played together for 16 games. Lebron and Davis have been emphasizing that our peak performance is going to take time and they all learn how to play with each other. It's ONE thing when you work in one or two new players on a team, but when you work in 6 new players and a new coaching staff, it's gonna take some time. I'm not worried about Daniels, Cook, Green or Caruso's shooting percentages at this point. They are all showing more and more improvement as time goes on. They are going to continue to improve.
Not sure I agree with your premise, however once everyone is healthy it will be a mute point. We have to find minutes for Rondo, Casuso, KCP, Green, Daniels, Cook & Bradley. Couple of those guys can split time between guard and small forward, but ultimately they will all need some time playing guard. They all deserve some minutes, so not really going to be enough time for them all to get 20 minutes, gonna depend on which ones step up and then the others are gonna end out with 10-15 minutes at most.
Team was full of freakin pansies too. Ball, BI and Hart were injured at the drop of rain. It was all jacked.
n james missed almostt 1/3 of the yr, whered you think they be now if he missed time like last season?
