I realize people are probably just joking about burner accounts, but I think that's a bad idea.

Well, Green is an Odom. Expecting him to carry the team is setting yourself up for a very painful failure.

Green is who he always was, a role player. Steph and Klay made him a rich man.
Luka is killing it... like a predicted, when he was still in Europe  I knew he would fit right in and put up some crazy stats but what he's doin, is just WOW. Bron like numbers, absolutely sick.

Draymond is kind of like what Dwight is to us this season. On a poor team, his numbers look pretty mediocre, but on a good team his contributions might be crucial. We've all seen what he can do, and he might do it again next season. When your team is horrible, what's the point of killing yourself with effort on a team that's tanking for a pick? He's probably conserving energy for next year.
If he was traded to a contender, I'd still fear what he might do although maybe not against our team because of our length and size underneath.

Shooting under 30% for a professional isn't easily excused, but especially NOT if you are getting paid like a star.

It's horrible, but no different than when Kuzma and KCP went cold at the start of the season.
My point is that Draymond can still contribute though I agree with you all that he was overpaid.
I just wouldn't write him off next year.

I'd give MVP to LBJ right now but it all depends whether the Lakers, Clippers, or Rockets end up winning.
    Harden's TS% is 62%
It's not aesthetically pleasing basketball but then again neither was Shaq's.
For me whether it's LBJ, Harden, Kawhi, Giannis or PG... it should go to the winning team's player.

well, houston's probably going to finish with the most wins. maybe milwaukee, though, cuz eastern conference.

my point is that the narrative is out of control. also, i don't love TS%. it rewards harden for getting a TON of undeserved FTAs. his actual fg%s really aren't impressive; he just deals in volume and has an unprecedented green light.

if kobe had more missed threes than anyone else had attempts, he'd have been roasted in the press, not deified.

Until this season there wasn't much difference between Harden's FTAs and Kobe's FTAs at his peak.
From age 26 to 28 Kobe averaged 10 FTA per game
From age 25 to 29 Harden averaged 10 to 11 FTA per game.
This season Harden is off to a ridiculous start at 14 FTA per game, but I doubt it continues that way.
I get that Kobe was a more skilled scorer, but Harden creates enough fear that people have to guard him close.
If they find a way to change up the rules, fine with me but Harden is an 86% FT shooter.
If people weren't guarding him tightly he'd score more from the field.

Barf. If there is a basketball god, Haren will never sniff anything resembling championship.

Are you seriously comparing the great Kobe Bryant in any way, shape or form to James Harden’s game?? Dude! Don’t care how you spin it. You’re clearly a smart basketball guy but you sure come up with some oddball takes considering that, it seems to me.

I'm not trying to troll, and I realize how much Kobe is loved by younger generations. (I grew up during the Showtime generation)
It's more about respecting what Harden has done, although it will mean much less if he never gets them a title.
If we combined AD and Harden or Giannis and Harden after LBJ retires... I think he'd win a title with one of those.

I go back further than you as a Lakers fan. That’s got zero to do with my problem with your outrageous comparison.

Just say NO to any thought of that tool being a Laker. Ever.

Many said the same about LBJ a few years ago. Obviously LeBron is a better player than Harden, but I wouldn't say no to him teaming up with AD or Giannis.
