So basically there are 3 players you deem better to build around. It seems like almost the entire league should be really worried about their future. Still, having the 4th (which I disagree with but that's a topic for another discussion) best player to build around in the best BB city seems not too shabby of an outlook.

The Klutch angle is something I haven't seen you bring up, but come on. There is one player on our team that shouldn't be on it which may by linked to Klutch and that's KCP. I may be wrong on this, but to my best knowledge, there is no evidence that Klutch has any significant (or even small) role in shaping the roster of other teams with his clients on them. There seems to be an issue with LBJ-led teams, but if KCP is the (infuriating but still) only tax during his tenure here, I guess we shouldn't be very concerned about Klutch once LBJ retires. I honestly don't understand where your fear of Klutch owning our team comes from, my concerns in this area after James era are at the level of zero.

Giannis was not available. Kawhi was a target but you saw that he chose to have his own team. PG is a headscratcher, because in the player's dictionary, next to the Robin entry is a picture of PG. AD is twice the Batman that PG will ever be.

I get your POV, but considering his contract/youth/potential i think it would be unwise to move him.

I find it comical that I hear how inept management, front office and ownership is for the LA Lakers in 2019, yet, they've managed to suck so bad at their job, they've been able to bring in the best player of his era whom is still at the top of his game, a future MVP, DOPY, etc, in his prime and have a young potential star coming into his own. Surrounded those guys with capable players and will continue to do so.

I guess when management sucks this bad, might as well keep sucking.

And can we stop with the inexperienced FO or specifically Pelinka. He's 2 1/2 seasons in now and everyone here knows Kobe doesn't suffer fools or people around him that don't work hard. "Rob is whip smart" he said when this was all taking shape after Jim and Mitch got fired. I'm sure some are better judges of Pelinka than Kobe though. Anyway he's 2 and a half freaking years in now and knows what the bleep goes on.

i think the continued suggestions that he didn't or doesn't "understand the cap" are ridiculous. i think he clearly helped botch the PG situation by overplaying his hand, and that was due to inexperience. but yeah, he's been part of fielding a contender, which is more than most people's gm folk heroes have done with many more years of effort.

anyway, as it pertains to kuz: i hope mr. rambis just has bad info. you should never be the one making those calls. you can "not hang up", but you can't be peddling guys whose value is ambiguous. you can peddle kcp--everyone knows he sucks, so you're not messing with your own market value.

now is the time to be doubling down on kuz's prior performance and telling folks if they're willing to part with their allstar and take kcp, he's theirs. otherwise, we're good paying him near the vet min while he gives us 15ppg.

Let's keep it simple. Kobe Bryant loves Rob Pelinka. Kobe Bryant, other than his immediate family, dont like anyone. That should tell you alot.

a 3rd threat is such a big deal, but ESPECIALLY because he brings a different skill set to the table.

With Rondo and Caruso increasing potential roles, I'll feel better about distribution as well.

Lebron leading the league in assists is both crazy, impressive, and hilarious.

Another solid night! Honestly he should start again vs. the Kings and sit AD for some more rest.

I was there at the game last night with my son and I was happy for Kuz. His offensive game
Is coming around... he is sorely needed for that.

Still, highly concerned about his D. The fans around me all noticed how bad his D is. He just does not have a good feel for it. Period. He takes bad angles, which you cannot fully appreciate on TV. He’s a liability in PnR. The effort is there but his problem is that if you haven’t learned it over the years or it was not a focus, becoming proficient will take time.

I don’t know if Kuz is still on a minutes restriction but he was yanked pretty early after starting for some porous D. When Kuz walked to the bench my son and I saw Vogel get after him about his D. The people behind me said: “Good for Vogel... get after him for his crappy defense.” So, the fans know it too!
