true, but his offense is better than we've seen. and his bad offense is averaging 27 a game on 48% from the field.

He's a monster. This was one of my favorites on the offensive end last night

His defense though... that's something special.

We shouldn't need him tonight as long as McGee and Dwight keep their hands out of the cookie jar and can stay out of foul trouble.

i mean, if there's a game you expect to win, it's against these warriors at home. doesn't mean i'm not worried, though.

We've got a favorable schedule coming up. Best to get him some rest & recovery now.

Windy had a good read on our duo's early success. Some encouraging numbers in there:

Yeah, I do not need to spend another night watching this guy grabbing his shoulder and grimacing after every play under the basket. Hell, give him the rest of the week off.

Look, being #1 in the West is great, amazing even. But being able to rest people and have them ready for playoffs @ #4 is better than being #1 and then two of your best players are hurt or too tired when it really matters. I understand he wants to play, but when the schedule is easy you tell him he needs to rest - even if that loses us a couple of games here and there, right?

Lakers want Davis to have an MRI on his shoulder. Unclear whether Davis and Rich Paul will agree to the imaging procedure.

Looks like news of Davis agreeing to sit the next game leaked around the same time I heard about the MRI. Perhaps that is Davis's way of compromising...

Why would they not? Seems like that would be not in his best interest to not know exactly what's going on and what state it's at.

Why wouldn't Davis just go in for an MRI? Afraid it might reveal something that will affect contract negotiations? We need him 100% come playoffs, can't be forcing through an injury when we don't need it early on.

Davis has a big history of injuries, unlike KD, so yeah I can understand if Rich Paul wants to stay away from that conversation if Davis can play through it.

It’s not that Davis wouldn’t get max offers if he’s seriously injured again, it’s that teams light feel emboldened for including games played clauses or the like, in his next contract if they feel his injury problems are significant again.

Please rest - I'd rest him the next like 4 games if we have to - that'll also allow Kuzma to get going - and then Dudley will likely get some minutes too.

This isn't even Load Management - he's actually playing hurt. No reason for AD to be out there against the warriors tonight or perhaps even the Kings.
