There’s value there now that he’s not starting. That was my main concern coming in, him starting and ruining that lineup. But if he’s going to come off the bench and be a playmaker for 15 mins a game when LeBron sits, I can deal with it. As long as Bradley stays the starter and the closer.

    5, 6, & 7 in 14 minutes, yeah I'll take that all day long.

Give him 25 min a night. He has to be in when Bron sits, but I think it's valuable to have him in there a bit with Bron too. If Bron is in game load managing, then the less he has to do as a PG, the better.

Rondo really set the guys up well last night. He got them the deeper looks in the post than they've seen this season (excluding Bron lobs). He crashed the boards like a big and considering the second chance points we've been giving up and long rebounds leading to 3s, that's huge.

It was great to see Rondo doing exactly what he should be last night. Our offense looked so much smoother having him in there. He's a great asset in that department.

Now just stay healthy and I am hoping that Vogel does not overuse him in the regular season. 15 minute restriction was perfect. After a while I could see him going 20 but I don't want to see him in more than that because we have other capable guards and I want him healthy and ready to go for the playoffs. LOAD management please! The guy was talking about achilles soreness so let's take that part seriously.

I missed all but the last 6 minutes but it's good to see that Rondo seemed to be used correctly. Him playing when Bron sits is the right move.

This is going to be a tricky one for Vogel all year - because he's going to be tempted to play Rondo 25-30 minutes a game but in reality, that will be a mistake. Playing Rondo 15-20 minutes is actually PERFECT. And he should never play in crunchtime.

So far, Vogel's been good at playing matchups and hot hands. The only problems I've had so far was him putting KCP on Kawhi Game 1 and playing him 27 minutes of nothing and not adjusting to Siakam in the Toronto game. Otherwise, our depth is what is going to win us games.

Rondo's playmaking looked real smooth last night. I get that our net rating declined when he shared the floor with LeBron, but that wasn't apparent watching the game.

With Lebron he gets open 3's which he refused to take and that screws up the flow. You're not going to get a Lebron/Caruso PnR to Bradley swing pass to Kuzman 3 with Lebron and Rondo pairing. Team won't run hard on Rondo for the 3 and/or he wouldn't take the open shot.

He does balance the team sans Lebron though: team really lacks guys who can get into the defense and get players into finishing territory. McGee/Howard, AD/Kuzma, Lebron/Kuzma, Green/Caruso, Bradly/Rondo is the best pair mix between starters/bench right now for the Lakers. The roster sure seems like they are expecting Iggy to come in as the final piece

He was awful against the Kings: really think he's only good for minutes with Lebron sitting

Everyone on the roster was awful against the Kings. Not a large enough sample size to see A) where he fits or B) what Rondo we're getting this year (rust may factor in as well)

He's a nightmare defensively. As the schedule gets tougher in December, I have a strong suspicion he will be getting torched...

My hope is Bradley comes back quickly...

And yes, I know all the reasons he is supported: he's a "playmaker" and takes away a lot of that responsibility from LeBron, but at what cost?

And yes, he was a +12 yesterday...against the Hawks.

To be fair, it's his third game back. You can't make long-term assumptions based on short-term results.

He's been bad defensively for years. That's not going to improve.
