I don’t think anyone is giving up on Kuz. Mr. Rambis said they are assessing his value. If you can improve the team you do it.

IT is NOT an improvement. Kuz gets picked on for his D... can you imagine IT? Coaches would salivate game planning for the Lakers with IT on the roster.

We should only trade Kuz (or any player for that matter) if that trade fills a hole or helps the team get better.

Yeah. No way do you trade Kuz for IT. I’m also surprised this is getting any real thought.

Also, is everyone forgetting that LeBron clearly didn’t like IT in Cleveland?

I'm still waiting for all of those criticizing the IT idea to give their own constructive ideas of who they would like us to pursue instead.
One poster suggested Crawford or Devin Harris.
Fair enough, but how about the rest of you?
Easy to criticize without suggesting anyone yourselves.
I've already admitted we'd never do it.
Just trying to think creatively because we need some creativity on offense.

Right now we stand pat. If The Grizzlies come to their senses and release Iggy, you jump on it immediately.

outside of that we should start working Rich Paul to see what teams KCP might be willing to go to.

We need Iggy to have any hope of controlling the Clippers wings but even so that creator is needed.
Our defense clearly isn't the issue... although I agree we are vulnerable to the Clippers, probably Brooklyn next season
We still need someone who can create though.
I wouldn't turn down Iggy obviously, but it still doesn't fix that problem.

I think someone will become available and I can see us making a move near the trade deadline. At that point, the team will have played together longer and we should have a better feel for which guys are the odd men out.

And to be clear, I’ve voiced concerns about our guards since preseason so I’m not disagreeing with you on that point.

Thats because the people opposed to the idea think its a terrible idea to trade kuz after a few games while still on a rookie contract. Rondo is a ball handler and on his way back.

Kuz can create when hes not relegated to being a spot up shooter.

People are now starting to see BI posting blistering numbers on insane percentages and kind of think they got robbed by keeping Kuzma, who is struggling after coming back from an injury...

Kuzma's ceiling is certainly lower than BI but he has "it", which BI didn't. Alone for that reason I would prefer Kuzma with the last shot of the NBA finals rather than Ingram. He is also a much better fit next to Davis and LeBron.

People need to chill and let him play his way into shape. Its not like he is crippling our cap space...dude makes like 3 mio.

Wow peeps can't post their opinion without another's 3rd-grade schoolyard mocking-of-what-was-just said. Why don't u grow up a few decades? I didn't go back and read Mr Rambis' post but it's clear a few of the posts I read about trading Kuz were serious. And while at it, stop pretending to be anything close to on the side of our FO. You waffle something awful. Just wow. smh.

BI is posting big numbers and losing like usual. He sits and his team still loses. It's the Julius Randle effect that mesmerizes everyone.

BI, Randle, players of that ilk are numbers with no substance people. I like to call it, the Al Jefferson Effect. All numbers, zero wins.
