i'd play him if i were houston. they're probably going to win, and they don't need to end an ugly stretch with a big win while russ sits and harden stars. might be bad for their team long-term, morale-wise. but i mean, they're the anti-christ incarnated as a basketball team, so...whatever's worst.
I'm interested in playing any well coached team with an ability to expose our weaknesses and force us to work on our collective games. Great coaches or well coached teams try to take away option 1 and 2 in your sets and make you go deeper into your bag of tricks. We NEED that heading into the playoffs, or we'll be trying to still survive on talent. I think we're showing progress, but have a LONG way to go. not saying Miami has a great coach, but like mentioned, they have repeatedly made the most out of what they had and remained competitive regardless of the roster. That says a lot. We need those kinds of tests. The playoffs are the best teams with the best coaches. You need to be incrementally challenged along the way.
So far, Harden took more FT's than the whole Magic team (saw a tweet about it). Dafaq is wrong with the NBA? They created a monster and now, there's no one with balls big enough to deal with it.
yeah--what are they supposed to do now? admit they've been officiating him differently than everyone else for 5 years? don't hold your breath. it's an embarrassment, though, for sure. what i don't understand is that it's not like he's popular...why are they propping him up. no one cares that houston's relevant and they won't care if they're not. if he was charismatic or say, played for the knicks, i could at least construct a theory...
Both times we play the Hawks fall in that 25 game span. We should crush them regardless, just makes the matchup a hair easier. Maybe we'll win by 27 instead of 19 now.
The Bucks don't look that good... the Clippers might have a chance even without Kawhi and PG if they play some defense and stop making stupid turnovers. Fortunately for us they will probably drop this game though.
