That was Sacramento in a player-friendly FA market.

    Shoulder.Injury.

Halloween is over, but the scare remains. Make sure you do not put our prized FA to be in any type of “uncomfortable” “positions”.

    Keep him happy!

Y’all already know what it is...

Some players kick it into another gear when they go home. AD kicked it into reverse. Worst game as a Laker. Bron got him a pity 7 at the end to pad his numbers. They have no one to check him. Those two easy dunks he had, he should've had 10 more of those without trying

Luckily they're not contending for a very long time. AD'S kryptonite?

Horrible game today. Hope he can bounce back soon, but those moves were soft.

he had markannen on him at times early and only walked him under for a dunk once. seemed like he was hoping they could coast and win. he was defending, though.

He's not going to Chicago. You don't make a huge fuss about wanting to leave the Pelicans and then accepting LeBron's #23 jersey just so you can go play with Colby White. It ain't happening.

Horrible game - and to be honest, horrible choice of words too regarding free agency. You JUST got here - and then you s*** the bed in front of your hometown crowd? Don't say stupid s*** like that again - you got a GREAT team now, enjoy it, embrace it, and give the same answer regarding free agency that you've been giving us - which is that you're focused on this season and that you're not thinking about free agency. Anything more than that regarding ANOTHER TEAM and you'll feel the wrath of Lakers fans and you'll deserve it.

Now rest up cuz we got 3 tough ones coming up with the HEAT, Raptors and Suns

Soft game. I hope it's an aberration, but he has the propensity for playing soft and settling for jumpers. Markannen is guarding you, FFS... attack.

Eh, he had an off game. He looked tired at the end of the road trip I'll give him a pass.

His midrange game isn't quite there, he's more effective on the pick and roll and pop. If he has a mismatch, fine, but he needs to stop settling on jumpers. AD needs some post moves, get some work in with Kobe or Hakeem.

AD has some great post moves, imo. playing him next to non-shooting 5s make it tough to execute them, though. i don't know why he's been so off with his jumper. his efg% on jumpers last year, for example, was 44%, which is basically the same as lamarcus aldridge, who's considered a good shooting big (guys like horford and towns were up above 50, blake griffin at 47, for reference). i couldn't find the number this year, but i'm guessing it's considerably lower.

He has some nice spin moves, but with his length and already solid footwork, he can make the most of this size advantage down low. Not to mention, it would reduce his injury risk with some of the moves he's trying out there.

speaking of Alridge, thats how I think AD gm will evolve, as he ages he's going to cont. shooting more and more from the outside and less and less post ups

Some moves were soft and some weren't. His first 4 points were from going right through his defender and dunking the ball. He was great again on defense. Our young 26 year old superstar is going to have an off night and I'm sure his team in New Orleans with an off night couldn't come back from 19 pts down I don't care who we're playing.

That's exactly what I don't understand. He started strong successfully, then settled for weak moves later on. And yes, his good D is a given. He is just settling for too many jumpers when he does not have to.

I actually think his shoulder is healed up now. I've watched him too closely than I'll admit the last couple of games and he has never massaged it, rotated it in pain or had it looked at while on the bench. He hasn't even had the big ice or heat pad on like he did last time we played in staples.

We've known since watching video and the stuff Pete has put out before the year that his shot selection leaves a lot to be desired at times. That's one of the things he's got to get better at as a 26 year old. It'll come. I'm encouraged he doesn't let a poor offensive night in his home town or any game for that matter define or limit himself on defense. He finds a way to make an impact in another area.

I agree he ought to seek out Kobe and work with him seriously on his footwork and back to the basket game. Can you imagine? Why not make use of the opportunity of Kobe Bryant in your home town of Los Angeles working with you once in awhile if you simply ask?
