Not everyone can heal from those types of injuries though

He's lucky. Not only are there physical scars, but emotional ones too. At least that's what Vash says.

abeer, you might have misinterpreted what I meant. I agree with everything you wrote. Not everyone at the C position can make that pass/read let alone see it. Most folks at the C position miss that read and/or don’t have the ability to make that pass.

Man, he and Kuz is a dynamic duo off the bench. Get Rondo out there, directing the offense and watch out!

He was quiet before the 4th, but he and Kuz got rolling. D, boards, put backs. Good effort getting us back in the game.

This dude has been in the middle of every meaningful defensive run in the season so far. He's hungry. Speaking of food, I'll eat a 2 pc Spicy Fried Crow combo because I'm starting to think his ceiling is higher than Boogie's if he were healthy. Dwight has been huge for us.

Me too, Purp and Gold, I'm eating some serious crow. He's killing it right now. He is truly a difference maker for us this year. I never expected that.

who's he doing that for right now? that's the sacre/hill front line. i don't think either of my kids was born yet.

anyway, the point is that howard isn't known for passing but made a couple nice ones. noah IS known for passing. and being semi-retired.

    and not a pf.

seriously, go back and look at basically...every year of his career:

Keep him in the bench. He came into the league just a year after LeBron and he's had more significant injuries

He's able to really go all out and drink from the fountain of youth playing 25 mpg. More incentive to get LeBron's minutes as low as possible seeing how Dwights body has responded to reduced minutes

Extremely proud of Dwight Howard. One hell of a story if the Lakers end up winning it all with him being a key factor in it.

This guy went from being the most hated active NBA player (by Laker fans) to damn near a crowd favourite, in a little over a week into the season. How amazing is that

Dwight's earning the love the old fashioned way, but playing well on the court. Easy to praise him when he's doing everything right on and off the court.

Don't understand why it took to this point-- rock bottom--for him to take care of himself and make changes. Glad it did, otherwise he wouldn't be here. But the work is definitely showing.

It always seems Dwight makes the big momentum swinging plays lately, and multiple ones at that. A big block here, a strong finish, a strip.

He's been the talk of the team for good reason. Never thought I would ever say this, but he's been the heart of the team so far.

I can finally bust out my Dwight jersey again.
