You gotta start thinking of starting him right? We are so much better with him out there.

Yeah, I love MCG but he's not doing it right now. Dwight just fits better.

He needs to start - also, he may need to play more minutes too (25-30) and he's certainly capable. Did you see his activity in OT? He was in the backcourt trying to double off the in-bounds - the dude is in WAY better shape than McGee and that's a big reason he's so much better out there.

He's going WAYYYY beyond expectations. I was against signing him at all. Incredible start thus far, but the sample size is too small IMO to move him into the starting lineup. I like McGee there, I just think they need more time to gel. Right now it's not costing us games or anything. Howard is in at the end of games and he's getting it done. I still think these two should be splitting minutes, but maybe a little more go to Howard since he's doing so well.

He's been great but I would keep the rotation as the way it is. The reserves already lose a lot because either AD or Lebron will be out and it will be that much worse if you flip McGee in for Howard. As long as he gets more minutes and finishes game it probably a better overall net result

But that was his fault. He Euro flopped into Dwight’s face. And he flopped again in the game. I guess he picked that up too from watching a younger LeBron.

Really liking what Howard is giving us so far. He's not trying to do too much & gives us so much size on the floor it's scary.

LeBron, AD & Howard/McGee on the floor together is a lot for any Team to handle. Too much size with speed & athleticism to go with it.

i'm not surprised at his performance so far at all

he quietly put up some damn good numbers in his year with the hornets and looked solid in his time with the wizards last season before he hurt his a**

So far I’m most surprised by Howard’s conditioning and seeing him run normally with no back pain. I just recall how limited he was when he used to be here and over the years. Now he seems like he can hang with any pace and still bang.

For those thinking Kuz is rusty.. Dwight was out for ONE YEAR. This is his fifth NBA game in a one year span. The dude has been spectacular. If we win a chip, he has to be one of our biggest priorities in terms of resigning players.

    Exactly.

And he shouldnt start IMO. Energy off the bench is beyond valuable.

I agree with this. Our team McGee being in with AD and Lebron is enough at center. Bringing in Dwight to help when one of the two is on the bench is much better for our balance.
