Since 2011, they got Klay at 11, Barnes at 7 (meh), Green at 35, Ezeli at 30, Looney at 30.

Smalagic, Poole, Bowman, Evans, Chriss, Spellman, Looney, Paschall, and Russ are all under 24 on that squad. I think Paschall and Smalagic (based on preseason) are probably their best young guys right now. I'm not sure about Poole. Off to a super slow start shooting, but he did shoot well in college.

oh, i wasn't counting them. i thought you meant these guys:

so my point is that i don't see those guys coming close to replacing what they've lost to age and FA over the last couple of years. their top form team featured livingston/iggy/bogut at their best in addition to klay/steph/green at what looks like was probably their very best. that's going to be hard to recapture, imo.

I think you’re right. Just a lottery pick won’t do it. Someone mentioned the top pick. The top pick plus player development could make them excellent for the next four years.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will be re-evaluated in three months after surgery on his broken left hand, team says.

He's going to be out the rest of the season. Draymond at some point will probably be shut down too.

Still too early to look deep into the standings but a playoff spot is open for the taking now.

Waiting for Draymond to come up with a fake injury and call it a season. He's massively overrated and will get exposed.

His game, aside from the occasional nice step back jumper, or take to the hoop, is hideous. Straight chucking, flopping, so many free throws, I don’t understand why the NBA wants to prop him up so bad as a star. And if anyone ever tells me he’s in Kobe’s league or close to Kobe I’ll just walk away, because I don’t like arguing with crazy or stupid people.

^ That. And, Luka Doncic is impressive. The NBA should promote him, not an avg player like Harden.

Luka is incredibly good. Was already very good last year. Looks better.

luka is the platonic ideal of harden. saw someone claiming he works the rules the same way, which is total b*******. he respects the game and is trying to score instead of trying to get fouled. he's like, mvp level already, too.

Things continue to go from bad to worse for the Golden State Warriors.

Just days after it was announced Stephen Curry will be sidelined for the next three months with a broken hand, Draymond Green revealed he's dealing with a ligament issue in his left hand that affected him during Friday's game, and he's unsure about missing time.

"I hurt my finger. A little ligament action," Green told reporters, including The Athletic's Anthony Slater. "It is what it is. It's pretty sore. I couldn't grip the ball the entire second quarter."

If I was the Warriors FO/Coach, I would pack it in for the season and let everyone heal properly. Put the fight off until next year where you can come in healed and whole.

If they fight to play out this season, they will ruin themselves for the rest of their key players careers.
