I think those of us that have watched Green his whole career know he can be sporadic at various times - however, last year in Toronto, he had a wonderful regular season. If he can duplicate that here, we're good to go. He has a tough match-up tomorrow (probably guarding Mitchell or Ingles), but I think he's up to the task.
Probably has Mitchell and Bradley on Conley. Gobert is a beast but they don't really have anyone to match up with AD and Lebron. This is a game where we absolutely need to PnR and not try and get cute with it.
Spurs trademarks, really. In TD's image. Think of that team... over the years: Duncan, Parker, Kawhi, Green...
This dude can really ball. Does everything that needs to be done, while playing smart. Incredible role player!
He's a very calculated, intentional, heady player. Brings a lot of stability, which is a huge asset to any team with championship aspirations.
Does not skimp on effort defensively. There was one sequence where Green rotated to the foul line to help leaving his man open. Once the ball swung to the corner, ran back to contest the shot causing a miss. Got caught wrestling with Gobert on a pair of picks and was tagged for fouls.
14 big points, 1 huge 3 to tie the game when we fought back, and 1 to tie it to go to OT. 3-6 on 3 overall, I’ll take that every night.
