But his passing has 10x made up for the few fumbles and better hands of late. Saves you from having to revamp the Kwame H O S gif.

I was tempted, but I'll give it some time....

Here's what's waiting for you Dwight, except I'll search for some drag to dress you in.

I agree! Though I would have preferred Cousins because he can space the floor and allow us to switch it up, Dwight is a very good option considering what we were left with that late into free agency.

What's interesting to me is I think Lakers are going to wait for Cousins to heal up.

Here's Dwight saying "When Boogie gets back." Not sure what will happen but you never know!

Cousins has been on the bench these last few games and looks pretty tight with the squad.

For as little as he's played in a few years, he looks good... and it's only preseason. Could be scary good in a few months if his health, mentally and physically, don't become issues.

So far so (very) good. IF this is the version of Dwight we can expect for the entire season, I would be thrilled. However, I am not that quick to forget. He may be the best redemption project since Metta, but the space between his ears still worries me. If he keeps this play and approach up until December, he may actually win me over as a fan.

I'm not sure Metta was a redemption project. He was always kooky, but he brought it on the floor every single night. And he didn't complain about touches. Metta had one unfortunate incident where he lost his cool and went after a fan that threw something at him. Dwight has been a locker room cancer for over decade.

Boogie is not coming back this year. If he does, bad advice will completely destroy any chance of a career.

When you've lost as much face as he has it's easy to be humbled, there's no other option but to be humble if you want to continue in the league.

The question I have is if he become an integral piece on this team and a factor does the old Dwight return?

I've thought about that too. Like if we have a stretch of dominant performances where Dwight gets 18 and 10, is he going to assume that he should always be averaging that much, or maybe he should get even more touches so we can be even more dominant? He's a moron, so I certainly wouldn't put it past him.

I think it's best that Dwight stays in the 10-12 point range with 8-10 rebounds with 1-2 blocks - if he starts putting up 18 and 12 again - I'm going to get a bit worried.

So basically , we want Dwight to be successful - but not too successful to the point where he thinks he needs the ball more or a bigger role or he needs to start.

Don't over think this and start worrying about Dwight doing too well. LOL

Any other player I might agree. But this is Dwight. Him doing too well is a legit concern.

Nah, not with these teammates and wanting a ring and redemption and maybe to stick around or go get bigger money elsewhere next year. Just my take on it. You could be right but I want to see him and McGee both wreaking havoc out there. No governor on his performance.

He said in an interview last week or so (regarding Javale) "It might be some nights where he plays more minutes than me, but that's fine, as long as we're doing whatever it takes to win. ”

Not a big deal and not tryna make a mountain out of a molehill over player statements as I see all over the place on here and other forums but I'm thinking DH, you do know you were brought in the be on the B squad right? With a chance to start? Javale is the starter on this team. Again maybe not much to read into as he's talking minutes which McGee has always been known for not having many but he averaged in the upper 20's the last 15 games with us last season and that statement sounds like someone who thinks they are starting. I also personally prefer McGee with Lebron offensively and I think both are great on the other end so if it's all things even we should reward the guy that's been faithful and a great locker room addition. Not the bastard that gave us the "c-ya, wouldn't want to be ya".

I expect Dwight to do well this year, he has to. But I think I (and many others) are on "head expansion" watch for the foreseeable future. Without a doubt 2020 is his last chance for a meaningful contract, like a 21-24 mil/3 year deal if he crushes it this season and I expect him to start campaigning for it with his mouth.
