The tax is well worth it, we have two top 5 players. But on a $/ production ratio, he's getting away with murder.

Would have rather given that money to Ed Davis, Morris bro, Ellington, or Carroll (I know he got a 3rd year from SA but maybe with our higher offer there would've been some wiggle room there).

i agree on the first part, and i'm not even sure the names you list are worth fretting over (one could argue kcp is actually as good or better than all of them, imo). my only concern with kcp is his defacto no-trade clause, but i think that rich paul could convince him to give it up if it helps his two more famous clients improve their roster.

I don’t think I’ll ever get to the point where I feel KCP is a 3pt threat, even when he is wide open. It shouldn’t be that way.

I don't think I'll ever get to the point where I feel KCP is deservedly a Laker and not riding Klutch's coattails...

He got destroyed by Curry tonight. Blocked twice in one possession, got schooled on the other end as well. He hit a few open looks but overall still sucked.

He can’t handle pressure of any amount. That’s why it’s frustrating to see him airball open looks. If he were a center air balling a 3’s then not a surprise. But you are supposed to be 3&D. So what the hell can you do if not that.

We never seem to get good 3pt shooters, damn near never.

I think or at least hope that we got some relief in that department, Jaguar, with the acquisitions of Danny Green and Troy Daniels. Hopefully Cook can provide some bench shooting in stretches as well. We've never been able to depend on KCP unfortunately and yet he's still here (but we know why).

He belongs in a suit next to Boogie. Made Curry look like Mutombo out there.

The air ball with his sphincter muscle puckering was special after all the shooting work.

Does anyone know of a team or teams that could us a guy like KCP this year? I know he has to agree with the trade but let’s say he does. Is there someone we can pawn him off for and if so, who? I just can’t stand seeing this guy on our team.

I don’t see why Portland would want Kcp, but maybe Rich can grease the wheels and have Kcp lift his no-trade clause for a fellow klient.

One thing is certain, Nurk checks all the boxes for keeping AD at the 4 and is a great compliment as a frontline playing mate.

Also with Rich’s recent klient extension history, Nurk is looking for that type of bag with 2 years still remaining on his contract. I wouldn’t mind similar age players in AD and Nurk growing alongside each other here.

Ohhhh Nurkic would definitely be an interesting add but I don't see why Portland would do it. He's also still recovering from an injury.
