Its funny how we have a team that would work with what Luke was trying to do. 3 point threats, bunch of lob targets and some decent passers.

It felt so good to see what we really got with acquiring AD tonight.

He was so dominant I forgot what that looks like in a Lakers uniform. Yeah LeBron can get numbers, but I haven’t seen a big man that looked like he couldn’t be stopped like that since Shaq.

But.. I was told by talking heads and other media all summer long Montrellz and Zubac will eat him alive.

Usually I'd say "it's preseason, move it along" but we came out and just PUNCHED the Warriors in the mouth in such convincing fashion that I can't help but get a little excited! Oh, and that AD guy is pretty good...seeing LeBron and AD out there reminds me a little bit of when we first acquired Gasol and how quickly he integrated with Kobe and the rest of our team....hoping to see the same with LeBron/AD and there's no "adjustment" period where we're justifying the early season struggles

This guy is a beast. To me it's a Pau-like acquisition because I think many forgot how good AD was, mostly because they don't see him in the playoffs. Just of a bigger magnitude. And last year they got into questioning his character for demanding a trade. After all the BS, to me Davis is head and shoulders above Embiid and Giannis. I think we're going to witness an all-timer from Davis this season. With this team, no one can stop him.

He and Javale what a beautiful combo on both sides of the ball.

LOL with the fake news having McGee and hands-of-stone-no-more-vert Dwight "competing for starting position".

I have not seen anything like this on our team since Shaq. It looked effortless. He’s an incredibly efficient player.

He makes it look easy, but others can’t do what he did last night. Great instincts, great size and athleticism and agility. Nothing can be done with him; he’s a perennial mvp candidate with the right squad around him. Whatever the trade price was, it was worth it, as we’ve been saying since he switched agents.

Why do we think hes a great midrange guy?

35.5% in 2018-2019 (hard to judge last year)

    36.4% in 2017-2018

    43% in 2016-2017

    42.4% in 2015-2016

    43.4% on 2014-2015

He is better in the paint non RA or much better in the paint

Those low 40% shots aren't great, this isn't the early and mid 2000s. Need to shoot them if open, if not drive to the rim or pop out for the 3

You're presuming to tell A. freaking Davis in his prime what he should or should not do? That will be dictated by moves initiated in 2 point territory, if lane to basket gets blocked?

Video game mode. Activated. There hasn't been a Laker who made it look so easy and effortless since Shaq.

If he is our featured option this year, he's a lock to win either MVP or DPOY and be a finalist in the other category.

Just wait till he knocks off the in game cobwebs on his J.

Unstoppable. Can't block him. Can't foul him. Man, I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully he'll be here for the next 9-10 years.

1 year rental unless we trade him at the deadline. Get the draft rights to Melo or something.

I want to see what the top teams throw at this duo. Especially the Clips. Kawhi may have been successful on man coverage on LBJ before but we are gonna see a penetrating LBJ a lot with AD in there I don't think he or PG want the fouls. I think we're are gonna see a lot of 6 and out on Zubac and bigs in general. It's even easier to get fouled out than with Shaq because there is LBJ and AD to contend with inside. Gonna be an exciting matchup with the Clips though. Ballmer has become my new Mark Cuban. I am going to enjoy watching him have fits @ the games. I think the Clips will pull out a better record than us due to load management with our aging guys and the sheer competitiveness of the Western Conference but that's fine, Clips can have homecourt advantage. Oh wait, no they can't. Staples is our house b****es. Welcome to LAker town Kawhi and PG.

They got no Paula for awhile though too (over a month?) and Clippersnake has to be load managed too.
