You all are making AC sound like an overlooked All Star. That forest fire sure spread quick. I’m still not comfortable with his dribbling skills and confidence when faced with tough man defense. That will matter for playoff basketball.
I totally believe in Caruso. No, he's not an all-star. But if you can play good D and shoot the 3 that well in limited minutes - after going undrafted BTW - you're NBA material. Besides, scoring 30 in an NBA game is no joke. He's a solid role-player in this league, and he can start if necessary.
He has a whole season and Phil Handy to get him ready. Not stupid with the ball like Rondo can be already puts him above his level since Do can't shoot or defend any more. His handles may already be better than what you thought was lacking last year. Am sure he knows his weaknesses and/or has been told by the staff, and has been working on them.
The Bald Eagle is the real deal! He's The Clipper Killer. In games vs the Clips in which Caruso has started: 23.5/8.5/3.5 .500 FG% .727 3PFG% *2 game sample size
He doesn't waste near as much time playing with his hair either (Kuzma), so he's more focused on stuff that matters. :Carusohearthands: Laker MVP most likely.
Hope he starts actually if he can: 1) Hit 3s at minimum of 33% on a minimum of 2 attempts a game. Prefer 36%+ on 3+ attempts (I know he shot very well lasts season, but small sample) 2) Play good defense 3) Create shots for himself a little bit like FVV 4) Create shots for others If he can do all of this. Then Rondo likely should be the point guard leader of the 2nd unit since not many others can create on this team. Caruso, Green, Lebron, AD, Mcgee Rondo, KCP/Avery, Kuzma, Dudley, Dwight Cook, Avery/KCP Daniels, THT Those main 12 should be the guys in regular season. In the playoffs, likely cut out one of KCP/Avery and Dudley? Iggy or Dragic complete this team

It’s not saying much, but Caruso > Rondo on defense and taking care of the ball at this stage of their careers.
Top 10 All Time easily. Others have some decent suggestions as well. I expect to see this as a promotional jersey money grab at some point actually. It would be genius.
Really nice game last night. Late in the game he was the only guy on the floor looking like an NBA player. He was doing everything.
